Tang Hao arrived in time to save Tang San and the others from Dugu Bo, who had blamed Tang San for the destruction of his cave. After Tang Hao left to hide in a tree, Wang Changsheng invited four women to compete for Immortal Herbs.

• Dugu Bo tried to kill Tang San, but Flender and Yu Xiaogang revealed that Tang San was Tang Hao's son and might have Twin Martial Souls.
• Dugu Bo refused to spare them, and Tang San blamed Wang Changsheng for destroying the cave, further enraging Dugu Bo.
• Tang Hao arrived with the Clear Sky Hammer and forced Dugu Bo to retreat.
• Tang Hao reassured Tang San, urged him to grow stronger, and then concealed himself in a tree.
• Wang Changsheng summoned Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, Ning Rongrong, and Liu Erlong and offered Immortal Herbs to whoever performed best in his game.

Wang Changsheng gave Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing Immortal Herbs, while Xiao Wu and Liu Erlong rejected his gifts and continued defending Tang San and Yu Xiaogang. After the herbs boosted the two women’s Soul Power and evolved Ning Rongrong’s Martial Soul, Ning Rongrong urged Zhu Zhuqing to take the initiative in repaying Wang Changsheng.

• Liu Erlong accused Wang Changsheng of stealing Tang San’s Immortal Herbs, and he replied that Tang San had stolen them from Dugu Bo first.
• Ning Rongrong challenged Xiao Wu’s defense of Tang San, but Xiao Wu insisted she would not believe the accusations.
• Wang Changsheng gave Ning Rongrong the Aromatic Silk Beauty and Zhu Zhuqing the Narcissus Jade Muscle Bone, while withholding the remaining herbs from Xiao Wu and Liu Erlong.
• The next morning, Ning Rongrong’s Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda evolved into the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, and Zhu Zhuqing’s Soul Power rose by seven levels.
• Ning Rongrong suggested that she and Zhu Zhuqing take the initiative to repay Wang Changsheng, and Zhu Zhuqing stopped hesitating.

Wang Changsheng took Tang San and Tang Hao to Ah Yin’s Blue Silver Emperor form, intending to revive her and take her for a wedding. He told Tang Hao he was willing to bring Ah Yin back, leaving Tang Hao unsure whether to trust him.

• After waking to the system’s mission, Wang Changsheng ordered Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Xiao Wu to prepare a wedding venue and invite Shrek’s teachers and students.
• Wang Changsheng carried Tang San away by his hair, found Tang Hao hiding in a tree, and flew off with both of them by their hair.
• Tang Hao realized Wang Changsheng was heading toward the woods near Holy Soul Village, where Ah Yin’s Blue Silver Emperor form grew.
• Wang Changsheng located Ah Yin and told Tang Hao he would revive her, then claimed he had been testing Tang Hao and Tang San all along.

Wang Changsheng resurrected Ah Yin, but prevented Tang Hao from embracing her and declared that he wanted her to be his bride. Tang Hao realized Wang Changsheng’s supposed test had led to an even worse betrayal.

• Tang Hao mistook Wang Changsheng’s cruelty for a test to prepare him for godhood, and Wang Changsheng claimed he would resurrect Ah Yin as a reward.
• Wang Changsheng used his Sun Martial Soul to restore the Blue Silver Emperor and resurrect Ah Yin, while Tang San learned that she was his mother.
• Tang Hao rushed to embrace Ah Yin, but Wang Changsheng overtook him and knocked him to the ground before welcoming her himself.
• Wang Changsheng asked Ah Yin to be his bride, provoking Tang Hao to curse him and protest.
• Wang Changsheng told Tang Hao that Ah Yin was getting married and that Tang Hao would not be the groom.

Wang Changsheng took Ah Yin to Shrek Academy and arranged a wedding, insisting that he would return her to Tang Hao afterward. Tang Hao and Tang San came to the ceremony, where Tang Hao reluctantly agreed to host and watched Ah Yin walk down the aisle beside Wang Changsheng.

• Tang Hao learned Wang Changsheng planned to marry Ah Yin and tried to summon his Clear Sky Hammer, but his injuries left him unable to do so.
• Wang Changsheng took Ah Yin away, and Tang Hao and Tang San decided to return to Shrek Academy to retrieve her after the wedding.
• Xiao Wu and the others prepared the academy training ground as a wedding venue while Wang Changsheng met Ah Yin as she got ready.
• Tang Hao agreed to host the wedding so he could stay close to Ah Yin, then welcomed her and Wang Changsheng onto the stage.
• Wang Changsheng told Tang Hao to smile as he stood beside Ah Yin at the ceremony.
