Chen Yuan unlocked the Rat and Chicken Talismans, then pursued the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect after Ning Rongrong returned to find it deserted. Gu Rong carried the unconscious Ning Rongrong away, but Chen Yuan located them with his new speed and continued after them.

Chen Yuan and Ning Rongrong traveled to Sea God Island, where Bo Saixi prepared to stop them with the help of ocean overlords. Tang Hao killed the hundred-thousand-year Demon Soul Great White Shark and took its Soul Bone, while the Evil Orca King and Deep Sea Demonic Whale King approached to avenge it.

• Chen Yuan watched dragon-shaped explosive fireballs with Ning Rongrong, making Oscar furious and prompting Tang San to work harder on the Tang Sect's ultimate weapon.

• Chen Yuan sent Tang Hao and Tang Xiao to kill the Evil Orca King and ordered Qian Heng, Qian Yao, Ju Ao, and Ju Wu to attack the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King.

Chen Yuan reached Sea God Island after defeating Bo Saixi and used the Rat Talisman [Life] to revive the Sea God statue. The statue began to come alive, leaving Soul Masters across the continent fearing that Chen Yuan would gain a god as his servant.

• Chen Yuan flew to Sea God Island on the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, while Bo Saixi remained trapped in his Tsukuyomi Space and islanders fled.
• The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King killed the Sea God's worshippers with a soul attack, and Chen Yuan killed a wounded Douluo who tried to stop him.
• Chen Yuan activated the Rat Talisman [Life] and declared that he would revive the Sea God and make him his follower.

Chen Yuan awakened the Sea God Poseidon from his statue, but Poseidon initially opposed him over the massacre on Sea God Island. Chen Yuan began turning Poseidon back to stone, forcing the newly living god to submit and leaving Bibi Dong, Qian Daoliu, Tang San, and the others stunned.

• The Sea God statue awakened fully, and Poseidon appeared alive with the Sea God Trident.
• Poseidon confronted Chen Yuan over the deaths on Sea God Island, while onlookers hoped he would kill Chen Yuan.
