Background / History

Transmigration and Xiao Yan’s Apprenticeship

Hun Tiandi is a transmigrator from Blue Star, not the original occupant of his identity. Under his guidance, Xiao Yan reached Nine-Star Dou Zun by the Three-Year Agreement and Nine-Star Dou Sheng in roughly ten years. Hun Tiandi himself became a Dou Di, destroyed the other six ancient clans, and gave Xiao Yan Tou She Ancient God’s complete inheritance. Accepting Qian Renxue

When Xiao Yan brought him an unconscious Qian Renxue, Hun Tiandi recognized her from his prior-world knowledge but did not know how she had reached the Dou Qi Continent. He revived her and explained that she was no longer in her original world 1 2.

Over several years, he rebuilt the tomb into a miniature netherworld. He secured Xiao Xuan’s participation as a test subject and arranged for him to meet Xiao Yan before entering reincarnation 27 28.

Xiao Xuan’s passage through samsara triggered a transformation of the continent. The Conversion Spirit Array merged into the world itself and became a wellspring of Spiritual Energy. Hun Tiandi subsequently bonded with the newborn Plane Embryo, becoming the continent’s Plane Master 29 30.

The Flame Demon Threat

Hun Tiandi opened the passage to the Great Thousand World and confronted the Flame Demon commander who had been forcing the realm barrier from the other side. He killed the Perfected Earthly Sovereign invader with a single palm, then ordered preparations against the stronger enemies likely to follow 30 31.

He declared his intention to enter the Great Thousand World to eliminate the threat at its source. Before leaving, he arranged to entrust the Plane Master’s authority to Xiao Yan and addressed Qian Renxue’s limited cultivation aptitude through a bloodline upgrade 33 34 35.

Hun Tiandi is relaxed with his disciples and dislikes elaborate formalities. He gives Qian Renxue time to accept her transmigration, explains unfamiliar cultivation concepts patiently, and uses humor even when dealing with powerful beings such as the Bodhi Ancient Tree 2 3 7 20.

His teaching combines lavish support with practical demands. He insists that cultivation alone is insufficient, sends Qian Renxue into difficult matches, and helps her understand that repeated defeats reflect unfamiliarity with Dou Qi combat rather than hopeless inadequacy 17 18.

His generosity also serves his own advancement. He initially supported young talents in hopes of discovering another child of destiny, and he taught Qian Renxue the Samsara Scripture to seek system feedback. Nevertheless, he continued funding regional talents after his search failed to produce another suitable disciple 11 17.

He remains ruthless toward enemies: he eliminated Yao Lao, annihilated six ancient clans, and threatened to force Xiao Xuan into samsara if necessary. This ruthlessness has limits—he refused to sacrifice the Bodhi Ancient Tree after benefiting from its help, and he respected Qian Renxue’s refusal to abandon her family bloodline 1 26 27 34.
