However, Uchiha Setsuna was actually looking forward to Uchiha Itachi's appearance.
Back at the beginning of the Civil War arc,
Uchiha Setsuna had identified three directions.
One was improving his own strength.
One was improving Uchiha's strength.
And one was winning over allies.
During these past few Life Simulations, Uchiha Setsuna had focused more on the latter two.
Why not the first?
Uchiha Setsuna had actually tried, but without success.
For example, trying to seize Fugaku Uchiha's Mangekyō Sharingan.
The Civil War arc was short. Uchiha Setsuna knew where his disadvantage lay: talent.
For Uchiha Setsuna to improve his strength, there were only two ways.
One was to seize a pair of Mangekyō Sharingan.
A pair of Mangekyō Sharingan was far more effective than a single one.
Fugaku Uchiha's were out of reach, and so were Tobi Uchiha's. That meant Uchiha Setsuna could only set his sights on Uchiha Itachi.
Yet in the previous few Life Simulations, Uchiha Setsuna had never found where Uchiha Itachi was.
Uchiha Itachi had barely appeared at all.
If he could force Uchiha Itachi out, the current Uchiha Setsuna was confident he could defeat him and take his Sharingan.
With so many Kamui Mangekyō Sharingan, Uchiha Setsuna refused to believe he couldn't handle one Uchiha Itachi.
As for concentrating their firepower on Uchiha Itachi and causing the Uchiha Clan to collapse,
Uchiha Setsuna did not care in the slightest.
It was only one Life Simulation. At worst, he could just do another.
The only thing he needed to worry about was whether Uchiha Itachi's appearance would trigger Fugaku Uchiha's Kotoamatsukami.
If that happened, the Uchiha camp would have to face two pairs of Mangekyō Sharingan.
