Overgod Hughes
The Water Divine Plane was created by the seven main Water Element Overgod in the past, and it is vast and boundless.
In terms of the number of gods, the Seven Divine Planes are not much different from the Four Higher Planes. It is still a terrifying number, with countless gods scattered across the seven continents of the Water Divine Plane. Every day, a large number of gods die, and many genius gods break through to new heights.
Fight for survival!
Fight for glory!
Countless earth gods struggled and fought across the seven continents of the Water Divine Plane.
But the Overgod is high above.
As if watching countless ants fighting and killing each other, the Overgod watched the various struggles with amusement. In their eyes, this was just a game! Occasionally, they would choose a messenger to intervene in the game.
The Water Divine Plane, the Hughes Continent, the habitat of the Hughes Clan.
A figure strode forward down the corridor, where portraits hung on either side. The servants standing on either side of the corridor immediately bowed.
"Your Highness!" "Your Highness!"
Tusi went directly into the residence of the Hughes Clan patriarch.
This was the clan leader's residence, containing a dining room, a reception room, a secret cultivation chamber, and other rooms. Tusi immediately spotted the blue-robed figure standing on the balcony. Upon seeing this person, the proud Tusi finally spoke slowly, "Father, my water Water Element Divine Clone is dead!"
Tusi told his father, Manoen, what had happened, his voice filled with resentment. "Father, I want revenge, I beg you."
Manoen nodded thoughtfully and said, "Tusi, the person you want to take revenge on is Luo Feng, Paragon expert. Don't even mention me, even your uncle Marco can't do anything about it. His strength is arguably the strongest below the Overgod. If you want revenge, you can only ask your father for help. However, given your father's status as a Overgod, he might not take action for you. Let's not worry about that for now. I'll take you to see your father."
The forbidden grounds of the Hughes Clan, the Sovereign Palace.
A man with long, beautiful hair as blue as the sky stood atop the palace, gazing at the endless ocean.
"Hmm? What's wrong with me today? I have a feeling of unease." Hughes frowned, his narrow eyes scanning the surroundings with a sharp, piercing gaze.
Manoen Hughes's voice rang out. "Father."
Immediately afterwards, Manoen and Tusi entered the fifth-floor hall of the Sovereign Palace.
"What's with all this rushing around!" Hughes snapped in displeasure.
"Father, the Water Element Divine Clone in Tusi is dead," Manoen said urgently.
"Huh?" Hughes was startled and looked at Tusi. "Someone dares to attack you?" Although Hughes was Water Sovereign, Overgod were only lucky enough to obtain Sovereign Spark. They also had joys and sorrows. The Hughes Clan was not prosperous because Hughes himself was a divine beast and did not have many offspring, unlike the Augusta Clan, which had 182 members in a single generation. Hughes only had two sons, so Hughes was very protective of his descendants.
"Grandpa, my Water Element Divine Clone was destroyed by Luo Feng, Paragon expert!" Tusi cried out. "Grandpa, you must help me!"
"Paragon, look up, Luo Feng?" Hughes frowned slightly, standing on the balcony, and turned to look at the distant sea. Hughes wanted to take action himself, Hughes knew he couldn't. Besides, Tusi killed someone's son, so why shouldn't they be allowed to seek revenge? If anyone was to blame, it was Tusi himself for getting involved. So Hughes really couldn't interfere. However, letting it go like this wasn't in Hughes's nature, and the Hughes Clan wouldn't tolerate anyone provoking them.
"Father," Manoen said repeatedly, but Hughes did not respond. Manoen knew that his father must be thinking, so he stopped urging him, but he was a little anxious. "Luo Feng's strength at the Paragon stage is unmatched by anyone at the Paragon. If Father doesn't take action, then Tusi's Water Element Divine Clone will have died in vain?"
"Call Lansford and Marco here," Hughes said indifferently, gazing out at the sea.
"Yes."
Tusi was overjoyed. "Thank you, Grandpa!"
The cold wind howled and the waves surged. Inside the Hughes Clan, two figures could be vaguely seen walking side by side. Only when they got closer could they be clearly seen.
One of them, dressed in a blue robe, with short silver hair and a handsome face, Lansford, who had confronted Luo Feng in the Planar Battlefield and ultimately fought Dennington.
The man beside Lansford was a middle-aged man in an elegant formal suit.
"The Overgod has actually summoned me to go to the Sovereign Palace with you," Lansford laughed.
At this moment, a calm voice came from the Sovereign Palace: "Lansford, Marco, you two go to the Infernal Realm and kill Luo Feng, the lord of the North Prison Prefecture."
Upon hearing this, Lansford raised an eyebrow in surprise. "I'm sorry, Overgod, even if Maka and I were together, we wouldn't be a match for Luo Feng. Overgod, you should take action yourself." His words were tinged with anger.
Lansford wasn't stupid. If it weren't for the favor he received from the current Overgod Hughes when he was still a commander, would he be a mere messenger of Lower Sovereign? With his Paragon strength, even a Water Element Sovereign would vie to have him as their Overgod Emissary. Yet, this Overgod actually ordered him to kill Luo Feng. Didn't the Overgod know about the battle on the Planar Battlefield?
Meanwhile, Marco remained silent. The Overgod before him was his father, and also Tusi's uncle, so he naturally knew about Tusi's affairs.
"Listen to me first," Hughes Overgod with a smile, though Hughes was still somewhat dissatisfied. "These Paragon High-God Overgod all incredibly arrogant. Most of them refuse to serve as messengers of the Overgod Emissary Overgod Emissary. Even those who do are unwilling to perform their duties easily. Luo Feng's actions disgraced the Hughes Clan. Although Lansford is my Overgod Emissary, ordering him around is not an easy task!"
The Paragon High-God are all figures who have reached the pinnacle.
Many of them harbored resentment towards the Overgod: What's so great about the Overgod? He's just lucky to have obtained the Sovereign Spark!
Therefore, those who achieve Paragon rarely obey the commands of the Overgod.
The Overgod Hughes chuckled, "Don't rush to refuse. I know Luo Feng's strength far surpasses that of Paragon cultivator, and I also know that last time, even Baie and Magnus were forced into self-exile by Luo Feng. However, are you really willing to let such a Paragon Paragon the balance between yourselves? This time, you two can contact Magnus, Baie, Bamer, Clementine. The six of you should be able to handle one Luo Feng, right?"
Lansford was startled. It seemed the Overgod had made up his mind to attack Luo Feng. He asked in surprise, "Overgod, have you decided to attack Luo Feng?"
Hughes Overgod calmly and did not answer. However, Marco, who was standing next to him, said elegantly, "The dignity of the Hughes Clan will not be challenged by Luo Feng. Anyone who dares to attack the Hughes Clan family should be prepared to bear the wrath of the Hughes Clan."
Lansford finally realized, feeling a mix of emotions—admiration, regret, and helplessness. After all, Luo Feng was facing an extremely protective Overgod. Overgod, too, have their own joys and sorrows; they're nothing special.
Hughes then said, "You only need to deal with Luo Feng. As for Linley, Dennington Overgod, and the others, I will warn them."
"I can give you these ten thousand Water Sovereign Power now. After you return, I will give you ten thousand drops of the Sovereign’s Might. How about that?" Overgod Hughes said with a smile.
"Lansford will do his best, please rest assured, Overgod." Lansford accepted the Sovereign’s Might and bowed repeatedly. As for Marco, Hughes was his Overgod; would he lack the Sovereign’s Might?
Hughes, the Overgod, smiled with satisfaction, "You may depart immediately."
Lansford said respectfully, "Then I'll contact Baie and Magnus right now. I think they definitely harbor a lot of resentment towards Luo Feng."
Historically, there have been instances where Paragon being was killed by the Overgod.
However, there's never been a case of a group of Paragon killing another Paragon. It's not that it's impossible, but rather that the likelihood of a group of Paragon cultivators gathering together and joining forces is extremely small.
