Aizen: Done Acting?
It was already late at night when they returned to the Fourth Division's dormitory.
After a quick wash, Wang Xun lay down on the bed, repeatedly going over the plan he had discussed with Urahara in his mind.
Whether Aizen appears or not, unexpected situations during the mission, and the reactions of the Modified Soul...
A few days later, Wang Xun received a notification from his captain.
"Fourth Seat Wang Xun, the captain wants you to come to the captain's office. He says there's an urgent mission."
Wang Xun a beat; he knew his opportunity had arrived.
He quickly packed up and headed to the captain's office.
Inside the captain's room, Unohana was sitting at her desk with a mission document spread out in front of her. When she saw Wang Xun enter, she pushed the document towards him.
"The Second Division has launched a joint mission, and the Fourth Division needs to send a medical team to accompany them."
"Captain Yoruichi has already arranged the selection. You're familiar with the Second Division, so you'll be going this time."
Wang Xun took the document and quickly glanced through it.
"Yes, Captain."
After leaving the captain's office, Wang Xun immediately gathered the accompanying members of the Fourth Division to explain the mission details, checked the medical supplies, and then led the team to assemble at the Second Division's base.
In the plaza of the Second Division's headquarters, Stealth Force stood tall and sharp-eyed, dressed in black uniforms.
With the tasks assigned, the team set off in a grand procession towards the northwest district of Rukongai.
Wang Xun led the Fourth Division members at the end of the line.
During the journey, Wang Xun noticed that among the members of the Second Division's Stealth Force, a middle-aged man with an ordinary face and dull eyes nodded to him.
It was Urahara who arranged for the Modified Soul. Wang Xun noticed that his Reiatsu was stable, and he seemed no different from the other team members.
Wang Xun did not approach him directly, but only glanced at him out of the corner of his eye as he passed by.
The group headed west and, after entering the northwest district of Rukongai, the surrounding environment gradually became desolate.
The road was rugged and overgrown with weeds, and the air was filled with a desolate atmosphere.
The target location for this mission lies in the distant mountains and forests.
"All personnel on high alert."
The captain of the Second Division shouted in a deep voice.
The group immediately stopped.
"The Stealth Force will flank from both sides, while the Fourth Division will establish a temporary medical station at the rear, ready to treat the wounded at any time."
"Yes!"
The crowd responded in unison.
Wang Xun led the members of the Fourth Division to set up a temporary medical point in a relatively flat valley.
The Stealth Force vanished into the distance in Shunpo, heading towards their mission objective.
The battle quickly broke out, with the clanging of weapons clashing, cries of pain and angry shouts echoing from afar, and intense fluctuations in Reiatsu indicating a fierce contest.
The members of the Fourth Division were on high alert, ready to treat any injured members at any time.
Wang Xun stood at the edge of the medical point, his gaze fixed on the direction of the battlefield, silently awaiting Aizen's next move.
At this moment, however, his mind was completely focused on sensing the fluctuations in Reiatsu around him.
Before long, a very faint Reiatsu fluctuation quietly spread through the air, almost imperceptible, like the moon's reflection in water, difficult to detect.
This Reiatsu was eerily gentle, yet it possessed a penetrating power capable of manipulating people's hearts.
The scene before me appears to be distorted; this is due to the power of "Kyōka Suigetsu."
Aizen has indeed arrived.
Wang Xun a chill run down his spine, but his face remained impassive.
A sudden noise came from the dense forest in the distance, causing the members of the Fourth Division to be on high alert.
He glanced at his panicked teammates beside him; they were clearly affected by the hallucinations.
"You wait here, I'll go ahead and scout out the situation."
Wang Xun gave instructions to the team members beside him in a calm and natural tone.
"But, Fourth Seat Wang Xun..."
"Obey orders."
The team members responded in unison, and then Wang Xun turned around and slowly walked towards the dense forest not far away.
As they ventured deeper into the forest, the Reiatsu of the Kyōka Suigetsu became increasingly clear.
That gentle fluctuation, like invisible threads, coiled around him, trying to invade his senses.
Wang Xun ignored the approaching illusions and saw a point of light slowly hovering in mid-air.
That was a fragment of the Kidō.
He stopped, his gaze falling on the fragment of the Kidō, a faint smile curving his lips.
This scene was so similar to the first time he met Aizen.
But this time, he no longer needed to hide.
He didn't move any closer, but instead addressed the deserted forest in a loud voice.
"Lieutenant Aizen, since you're here, why don't you come out and greet us?"
The moment the words fell, the surrounding Reiatsu fluctuated, and the distorted space gradually returned to normal.
A figure slowly emerged from behind the tree.
"This really surprises me."
Aizen slowly walked up to Wang Xun, scrutinizing him repeatedly.
"So you really can see through the Kyōka Suigetsu... Did it start from the last joint mission?"
Wang Xun ignored the illusions of rebellious nobles wielding knives and attacking him, and quietly watched Aizen.
"Good."
Aizen's smile deepened as he recalled the scene from that time.
"I see. It seems I underestimated you."
"Your reaction at the time almost fooled me; I thought you were really being deceived by the illusion."
He abruptly changed the subject, his tone becoming increasingly chilling.
"Since you already knew, what do you want to say to me by leading me out here?"
Wang Xun chuckled softly.
"Lieutenant Aizen, since I could see through your Kyōka Suigetsu, don't you find it strange that I didn't report you immediately after returning to the Seireitei?"
Aizen an eyebrow, a hint of curiosity mixed with the killing intent in his eyes.
That's something he's been thinking about.
He had assumed that Wang Xun could see through his Kyōka Suigetsu and had made corresponding contingency plans.
Judging from Wang Xun's behavior, he showed no signs of seeing through the illusion.
Therefore, Aizen has always been questioned.
But now that Wang Xun can see through the Kyōka Suigetsu, Wang Xun actions become quite intriguing.
At this moment, Wang Xun continued.
"Lieutenant Aizen, I've always been curious about your purpose."
Aizen watched Wang Xun quietly, his smile gradually fading, his eyes becoming deep and unfathomable.
Can you tell me about it?
Wang Xun stared intently at Aizen, awaiting his answer.
Aizen chuckled softly; the young man before him had piqued his interest.
It's nothing more than a waste of breath.
"The rules of Soul Society have always been absurd."
Aizen's voice was deep and powerful, carrying a detached indifference that suggested he had seen through the ways of the world.
"Wang Xun, do you know about the Soul King?"
"Are you talking about that human pig?"
Aizen paused for a moment, a hint of surprise creeping into his gaze as he looked at Wang Xun.
"You... know?"
Wang Xun nodded.
Aizen slowly, his tone becoming increasingly solemn.
"You have quite a few secrets."
Everyone has their own secrets.
Wang Xun responded softly.
"Even Lieutenant Aizen is no exception."
Aizen smiled, a genuine smile.
It was simply because he remembered the tone and words Wang Xun used when he spoke of the Soul King.
This made him very happy.
"Since you know that, it saves me a lot of trouble."
"The Soul King was imprisoned on the throne, becoming a tool to maintain the balance of the three realms."
"The Central 46 Chambers is aloof and autocratic, using so-called rules to bind everyone."
"Nobles enjoy privileges based on their bloodline, while ordinary Soul Reaper and souls of the Rukongai can only struggle at the bottom."
"All I want to do... is overturn all of this."
Wang Xun listened quietly without interrupting.
He knew that Aizen's words came from the bottom of his heart.
This man, seemingly gentle, actually harbors ambitions to overthrow the world.
"The rules of Soul Society are truly absurd."
Wang Xun spoke slowly, his tone carrying a hint of agreement.
"The Soul King was not a supreme god, but merely a prisoner who was placed on the throne."
"The rules of the Central 46 Chambers are merely to protect the interests of the nobility."
"And so-called justice is nothing more than a lie defined by the powerful."
Wang Xun's words caused a thoughtful look to flash in Aizen's eyes.
He hadn't expected that Wang Xun would share such similar views.
You think so too?
Aizen narrowed his eyes and said softly.
"Good."
Wang Xun's gaze became distant. He raised his head, looked directly into Aizen's eyes, and spoke with a firm tone.
"I agree with your pursuit; perhaps we are kindred spirits."
"Heh, this is really interesting..."
Aizen softly, then fell silent.
The next moment, the killing intent surged forth without warning.
"A few words won't convince me."
"Speak, what exactly is your purpose?"
"If you don't want to die, I suggest you..."
Be honest.
