Chapter Summaries

Wang Xun fought the Visored to help them improve their Hollowfication, then enhanced Kisuke Urahara’s healing hot spring. The chapter ended with Urahara asking what Soi Fon had learned about the Zero Division’s investigation into the Quincy.

• Love Aikawa and Shinji Hirako pulled Kensei away from training, and Wang Xun invited the group to attack him together.
• Hirako, Ōtoribashi, Aikawa, Hachigen Ushōda, and the others fought Wang Xun, who overcame their attacks and raised his Hollowfication as they adapted.
• After nearly half a day of fighting, the exhausted Visored thanked Wang Xun, and Hiyori Sarugaki and Hachigen Ushōda said they did not want to return to Soul Society.
• Kisuke Urahara revealed a healing hot spring, and Wang Xun used Kaidō to strengthen its restorative effects after recognizing its connection to Tenjirō Kirinji’s springs.
• Urahara asked Wang Xun how far the Zero Division’s investigation into the Quincy had progressed, based on Soi Fon’s mission for Senjumaru Shutara.

Wang Xun briefed the Visored on Aizen and Yhwach’s growing threats while they recovered and trained, then sensed his captured Hollow clone in Hueco Mundo. The clone escaped its container but faced dissection by Szayelaporro until Kaname Tōsen intervened with Aizen’s order.

• Wang Xun explained that Aizen had absorbed Pernida into the Hōgyoku, weakening Yhwach’s seal and raising the danger to the Soul Society.
• Hirako, Kensei, and the other Visored decided they needed to return to the Soul Society, while Hiyori chose to remain in the World of the Living and Mashiro Kuna agreed to follow her.
• After the Visored resumed training, Wang Xun returned to the residence and sensed feedback from the Hollow clone Aizen had taken to Hueco Mundo.
• Aizen oversaw construction at Las Noches and instructed Kaname Tōsen to use the Adjuchas specimens in Arrancar experiments while keeping one special specimen away from Szayelaporro.
• Szayelaporro found Wang Xun’s clone awake in a broken container and threatened to dissect it for his soul-separation research.
• Kaname Tōsen arrived and warned Szayelaporro that Aizen had ordered him not to touch the specimens.
