Arrival in the Great Thousand World

Lin Dong arrives from a Lower Plane with Ling Qingzhu and Qing Tan. While he converts his energy into spiritual energy, the Boundless Ancestor attacks their group. Lan Hong intervenes before the ancestor can strike him. Initially suspicious upon awakening, Lin Dong apologizes after learning that Lan Hong saved them 596.

His journey is driven by the search for his wife, Ying Huahuan. Her reincarnation shattered while helping him resist the Outer Realm Demons, and its fragments reached the Ice Spirit Clan. Lin Dong also establishes the Martial Realm in the south of the Great Thousand World 596 618.

Building the Martial Realm

Lin Dong seeks both resources and recognition for his new faction. At the Great Thousand Gathering, he deliberately displays overwhelming strength against an Earth Supreme-level Demon Empress to discourage powers coveting the Martial Realm 620.

While exploring the Sacred Drum Emperor’s hidden treasure with Lan Hong, he gains insight into a martial skill by matching his punches to a war drum’s rhythm. He receives the Drumbeat Sound manual and later accepts a valuable spirit vein. The two also arrange to exchange the Martial Realm’s ores for Lan Hong’s pills 621 622.

The Martial Realm survives attacks from Gu Xuan of the Ancient Royal Court and the Outer Realm Demons. These battles expose the limits of Lin Dong’s Earth Supreme cultivation: he can strike Heavenly Supremes, but cannot reliably overcome their control of Heaven and Earth Power without assistance 624 625 628.

Recovering Ying Huahuan

Lin Dong finds Ying Huahuan’s reincarnated self, Ying Huan’er, in the Ice Spirit Clan. She does not recognize him. After he injures Bing Cangqiong, she condemns him for hurting the man she calls “Grandpa,” leaving Lin Dong devastated 618.

Lan Hong suggests that the memories may reside in a separated portion of her soul. Realizing that he lacks the strength to compel the clan’s cooperation, Lin Dong returns to cultivation 618 619.

When the Ice Spirit Clan attempts to use Ying Huahuan in a marriage alliance with the Western Heaven Battle Hall, Lin Dong returns with his companions and demands both her release and the Ice Spirit Tablet. Fighting the Ice Spirit Ancestor supplies the pressure needed for his Heavenly Supreme breakthrough 632 633 634.

Lin Dong defeats the ancestor in combat and seals the Western Heaven Battle Emperor inside a Space Prison intended to hold him for at least two or three years. The conflict ends with the Ice Spirit Ancestor’s death and Lin Dong’s reunion with Ying Huahuan 635 636 637.

Ancient Legacies and Divine Beast Clans

A palm strike used to intimidate the Black Spirit Clan collapses part of the seabed, exposing a True Dragon secret realm. Lin Dong explores it with Lan Hong and Qingyan Jing and studies the Azure Dragon Body Refining Technique. After learning Long Ao’s story, he pledges to spread the forgotten ancestor’s name through the Martial Realm 668 671 672.

Lin Dong later challenges the True Phoenix Clan’s claims of superiority over the True Dragon Clan. His spar with Great Elder Feng Yao ends in victory when Eight Desolations Annihilation shatters her phoenix phantom 691 692.

In another ancient ruin, he and Xiao Yan destroy the Blood Slaughter Seven Days Formation and kill its seven demonic defenders. Lan Hong subsequently explains to them that full recognition by the Azure Vault Ranking is the key to the Dominator Realm 703 709.

War Against the Outer Realm Demons

Lin Dong fights alongside Xiao Yan against the Slaughter Ancestor, buying time for Xiao Yan’s Destruction Fire Lotus. When the attack fails to finish their opponent, both refuse to retreat and continue fighting until Lan Hong rescues them 730 731.

As a half-step Dominator, Lin Dong battles the Demon Ancestor. He uses spatial restraints and the Eight Ancestor Glazed Bowl to create openings for Hong Mao’s attacks 738 739.

Against the Heavenly Evil God, he weakens the Nine Demonic Suns by devouring their demonic energy. Later, he and Xiao Yan burn their lives to restrain the enemy and expose his nine eyes to Lan Hong. The Heavenly Evil God escapes by sacrificing those eyes and opening a Tenth Eye 750 753.

After reaching the Dominator Realm, Lin Dong joins the counteroffensive into the Outer Realm. He wins an early engagement that boosts the Allied Army’s morale, kills the Evil-Eyed Demon Emperor, and helps Lan Hong and Xiao Yan annihilate the final gathered demons 766 768 771.

Family and Postwar Development

Following the war, Lin Dong trains others to manage the Martial Realm so that he can eventually step away from daily administration. He is overjoyed when Ling Qingzhu and Ying Huahuan are both found to be pregnant 774.

Lan Hong promises two parcels of former Outer Realm territory to his children. Lin Dong willingly commits the substantial resources needed to develop them, hoping to establish their future foundations before traveling freely with his wives 775.

Douluo World and the Netherworld

While observing the contest between the Douluo God Realm and the Six Great God Realms, Lin Dong intercepts the Sea God’s Trident when Tang San summons it. He later enters the Great God Circle with Lan Hong and Xiao Yan, bypassing its defenses 807 816.

He condemns Tang San’s treatment of benefactors and his family’s monopolization of Douluo Star’s resources. Lin Dong also participates in planning the Netherworld, connecting it to every life-bearing planet in the Douluo World and guiding visiting God Kings through its afterlife 820 826 829 830 845.

Cultivation Lineage in Huaxia

Lin Dong joins Lan Hong and Xiao Yan in announcing cultivation inheritance grounds to prepare Huaxia for an approaching invasion. His site is at Kunlun Summit, where a golden staircase tests entrants before they can reach the cultivation stele 858 862.

Lin Dong is direct, combative, and quick to act. The Great Desolation Prison Heaven Finger becomes his habitual opening attack, and he welcomes difficult opponents rather than avoiding them. His recklessness is strongest where Ying Huahuan is concerned. He threatens the Ice Spirit Clan rather than accepting its proposed marriage alliance, yet also acknowledges that he owes her deeply and takes her objections seriously 632 686.

He treats loyalty as a practical obligation. Lan Hong’s affairs become his own, and he immediately agrees to help defend the Dou Qi Continent. As lord of the Martial Realm, he considers stepping forward against stronger enemies his responsibility, not someone else’s burden 629 637.
