Background / History

Lin Dong came from a lower plane that had suffered an Outer Realm Demon invasion. During that conflict, his wife Ying Huahuan burned her soul and shattered her reincarnation to free him from his shackles. He entered the Great Thousand World intending both to grow stronger against the demons and to locate her reincarnated body. 618 620

While converting his power into spiritual energy, Lin Dong was attacked alongside Ling Qingzhu and Qing Tan by Boundless Ancestor’s group. Lan Hong intervened, killed Boundless Ancestor, and protected the group until Lin Dong completed his conversion. Lin Dong initially confronted Lan Hong warily, then apologized and thanked him after learning what happened. 596
