A Natural Formation, the Ancient Heaven-Concealing Formation!

"What's inside that waterfall?"

Lin Yunji sensed the unusual movement of the black patterns and grew suspicious. This was the first time anything like this had happened to the bones in his left palm!

What on earth had caused it?

"The water looks clear and pure from afar, and it's cool to the touch, right through to the heart! It feels wonderful!"

Just then, Yaochi's voice suddenly rang out, full of delight. "Sister Nüwa, Brother Yunji, come quickly! This water is so cool!"

"All right, I'm coming right now!" Lady Nüwa smiled gently, her indulgence and affection plain on her face. She came to Yaochi's side and reached out to feel the spring water in the clear pool. It was just as Yaochi had said.

Yaochi, bursting with excitement, tested the water, then stepped onto its surface and leaped in, diving beneath it like a little fish. Only after quite a while did she emerge again and wave to Lady Nüwa. "Sister Nüwa, come down and play! It's not deep at all!"

Lady Nüwa agreed with a smile and joined Yaochi in the clear pool.

Before long, they were laughing and playing in the water, thoroughly enjoying themselves.

"Little Jade Bamboo, aren't you coming?"

Lady Nüwa turned to look at Lin Yunji, who was still standing on the bank, lost in thought.

She had already undone her hair ribbon, and her long hair fell over her shoulders. Her pretty face was faintly flushed, and playful droplets clung to her eyelashes, slipping gently down as she blinked. They shimmered faintly gold in the sunlight, making her look incomparably beautiful!

"No, I think I'll pass."

Unexpectedly, when faced with Lady Nüwa's invitation, Lin Yunji waved his hand and declined outright.

Then he pointed to the waterfall not far away. "I'm going over there to take a look first. You two go on playing. I'll be back in a little while!"

"Perhaps he has something else in mind. It's all right." Lady Nüwa brushed the stray hair from her forehead and comforted Yaochi instead.

Meanwhile, Lin Yunji had reached the clear pool beneath the waterfall.

Rumble!

The waterfall plunged from the cliff above with a tremendous roar, crashing into the pool below.

The mist was thick here. Gazing at the magnificent waterfall, Lin Yunji could not help frowning.

"What on earth is beneath this waterfall? What could make the black Dao patterns on the bones of my left hand tremble?"

Unable to make anything out from outside, Lin Yunji hesitated no longer. He turned into a streak of light and sped straight toward the waterfall.

Soon, he passed through the curtain of water and reached the space behind it.

Just as he had thought!

There was another world hidden behind it!

It was a cave abode with a spacious interior!

Water vapor filled the air, and rich Innate Spiritual Qi permeated the place.

As soon as Lin Yunji entered, he saw a great formation directly ahead of him.

The formation's configuration was profoundly mysterious. Golden light flowed through the void from time to time, while its Dao patterns opened and closed like blinking stars, containing countless transformations.

These utterly violent energies churned and raged within, rushing at him and striking his physical body again and again.

This was a miniature chaos world!
