Lin Yunji challenged the Supreme Hall, then led his companions into the Ancient Realm, where they uncovered the Source Realm’s destruction and encountered its lingering dead. After returning to the Great Fault, he sensed Houtu and the Changxi sisters under attack and rushed to their aid.

• Nüwo completed the Seal of Samsara, reached Supreme Primordial Unity in the Source Realm, and refined the Que-Destroying Soul-Startling Bell as her lifebound treasure.
• Lin Yunji entered the Supreme Hall, defeated Supreme Daruo to claim twentieth place, then lost to Kunsheng and remained ranked twentieth.
• Lin Yunji and his companions crossed the Great Fault and entered the Ancient Realm, where Lin Yunji suppressed lingering killing karma and later captured the resentment of dead Supremes.
• The group encountered Chang Yanzi, a corpse monster who attacked Shi Mang, then pressed on to the grand formation and destroyed its life-gate foundation.

Lin Yunji helped defeat Taixuan and Xiangci, learned that the universe faced invasion, and joined the defense of the Primordial Expanse Ancient City. After guarding and repairing the great formation for millions of years, he agreed to join Ice-Cold Supreme Venerable on a dangerous mission.

• Lin Yunji defeated the Supreme’s forces, reunited with Cult Master Tongtian and the others, and received Heishen’s black fork and Black Water Supreme Art.
• Lin Yunji returned to the Source Realm, cultivated through the Three Lives, Three Worlds flower, and opened exchanges between the Primordial World and the Source Realm.

Lin Yunji joined the Supremes in assassinating the Lord of Darkness, pursuing the impostor Ditan, and preparing for the Spirit God Universe’s collapse. As the enemy’s Great Creation Gods readied a final attack, Lin Yunji’s team infiltrated the universe to reach its singularity while three Supremes began peace talks.

• Ice-Cold Supreme Venerable brought Lin Yunji into the Primordial Expanse Great Formation, where he overcame six Supremes’ pressure and joined their planned assassination mission.
• Lin Yunji and six venerables entered the Spirit God Universe, adapted to its laws, and killed Erebus, the Lord of Darkness, before escaping the arriving Great Creation God aboard the Cosmic Domain Star Shuttle.
