Jiang He defeated Yusuke Fujiwara and Darkness, but Darkness’s collapse displaced Domino City and brought New Domino City into the present. After arriving there, Jiang He defeated Lazar and accepted Rex Goodwin’s Fortune Cup invitation, then began a duel with Jack Atlas.

• Jiang He defeated Kaiser Zane Truesdale with Chimeratech Overdragon, then discovered that Darkness’s power was affecting cards and students.
• Jiang He challenged Mr. T to a Shadow Duel and defeated him by weakening Five-Headed Dragon with his True Draco cards.
• Jiang He faced Yusuke Fujiwara, used Clear World’s Attribute restrictions against him, and won the duel with Gren Maju Da Eiza.
• Darkness emerged, challenged Jiang He, and battled him in a Shadow Duel until Jiang He reduced its Life Points to zero with Wiraqocha Rasca and Hinotama.
• Darkness’s defeat returned its captives, but its collapsing world displaced Domino City and brought New Domino City into the present.
• Jiang He arrived in New Domino City, revealed his honorary prince status to Lazar, and defeated him in a one-turn duel with The Tyrant Neptune.
• Rex Goodwin invited Jiang He to the Fortune Cup, and Jiang He accepted without skipping the preliminary rounds.
• Jack Atlas challenged Jiang He before Duel Academy’s departure, and their duel began with Jack summoning Dark Resonator and Power Giant.

Jiang He defeated Akiza and Sayer, then prepared for the Fortune Cup while his arrival in New Domino City brought him face to face with the tournament’s suspicious setup. The arc ended as Aster Phoenix and Luna were introduced for the opening duel.

• Jack Atlas challenged Jiang He to meet him at the Fortune Cup after Jiang He defeated him, and Jiang He sensed the Crimson Dragon’s Mark awaken within Jack.
• Jiang He redeemed the Giant Mark and new Decks, then accepted Akiza Izinski’s challenge to a duel at Duel Academy.
• Jiang He defeated Akiza with Lava Golem, Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon, and Virtual World Kyubi - Shenshen, securing her place at the academy.
• Alexis Rhodes and Akiza Izinski dueled over who would share Jiang He’s guest room, but their duel ended in a draw and Jiang He moved in with neither.
• Jiang He exposed Sayer’s plans to exploit psychic duelists, defeated him in a Shadow Duel, and sealed him in a Monster Card.
• Chancellor Sheppard prepared the students for Turbo Duels, while Jiang He refused the academy’s D-Board and noted that his own D-Wheel was being built.
• Jiang He exchanged for several powerful Decks and traveled to New Domino City with Alexis Rhodes, Jaden Yuki, and the others for the Fortune Cup.
• Jiang He questioned the tournament’s matchups after Aster Phoenix said he had been hired to defeat a twin-tailed child, then watched as Aster and Luna were announced as the opening duelists.

Jiang He dominated the Fortune Cup with his powerful decks while the tournament exposed Goodwin’s schemes and advanced its strongest duelists. His Turbo Duel against Jack Atlas ended with Jiang He tightening a lock that left Jack struggling to respond.

• Aster Phoenix exposed Leo’s disguise as Luna and defeated him by using Destiny HERO - Plasma and D - Force to overpower Leo’s Morphtronic monsters.
• Jiang He defeated Toramichi Saio with ABC-Dragon Buster, then Yusei Fudo defeated Gilles de Rais and Chazz Princeton began the tournament’s first Turbo Duel against B▶C.
• Chazz defeated B▶C, but B▶C exposed his accusation that Goodwin had destroyed his village and attempted to attack Goodwin before Security restrained him.
• Jiang He helped Akiza Izinski practice controlling her psychic abilities, then defeated Professor Frank after Exodia’s psychic attack overcame Frank’s hypnosis.
• Kaiser Zane Truesdale and Aster Phoenix forced a draw with Final Fusion, eliminating both duelists as Jiang He exchanged for new decks and prepared a custom D-Wheel.
• Jiang He faced Jack Atlas in a Turbo Duel, summoned Buster Dragon and Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman, and used their effects to lock down Jack’s Dragon monsters.
• Jiang He further restricted Jack by equipping both Destruction Sword cards, then summoned Buster Blader, the Destruction Swordmaster and revived Buster Dragon with Prologue of the Destruction Swordsman.

Jiang He defeated Jack Atlas and Jaden Yuki, while Yusei Fudo beat Jack to reach the final against Jiang He. As Goodwin prepared to use the Crimson Dragon, Jiang He gained Loki’s true sight and took control of the Turbo Duel final, leaving Yusei’s field cleared as another Synchro Summon began.

• Jiang He defeated Jack Atlas in the Turbo Duel, claimed Red Dragon Archfiend, and became the King of Turbo Duels.
• Chazz Princeton used Jaden Yuki’s Necroshade to summon Dark End Dragon, but Jaden countered with Divine Elemental HERO Neos and won their duel.
• Jack Atlas returned to the tournament through the repechage, and Jiang He exchanged rare cards for Red Dragon Archfiend before giving Herald of the Arc Light to Alexis Rhodes and Hell Bramble to Akiza Izinski.
• Jiang He defeated Jaden Yuki with his Dice Jar and Morphing Jar #2 deck, using Rainbow Life to turn Dice Jar’s damage into Life Point recovery.
• Yusei Fudo defeated Jack Atlas in a Shadow Duel as the Crimson Dragon appeared, and Goodwin concealed the duel’s aftermath by blaming an equipment malfunction.
• Jiang He spent Emotion Points to acquire Loki’s Mark and the Surprise Attack Trishula Deck, then agreed to face Yusei in a Turbo Duel final.
• Jiang He used Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, to return Yusei’s Red Dragon Archfiend to the Extra Deck and later bounced Stardust Dragon as well.
• Jiang He used Penguin Soldier to return Unknown Synchron to Yusei’s hand and began a Synchro Summon with three Penguin monsters.
