Her interest in Lin Qing combines curiosity with high expectations. Assessing the Newcomer

Hu Liena first encounters Lin Qing in Spirit Hall’s main building after he receives his Golden Generation reserve token. She subsequently observes reserve training, taking particular notice after his Bamboo Transformation helps him defeat Xie Yue 25 27.

Qin Wuj iu later arranges a private meeting between them. Hu Liena examines Bamboo Soul and Bamboo Transformation, explains their limitations, and offers to arrange a hunt in Spirit Hall’s Golden Generation hunting ground 28 29.

Ten-Thousand-Year Mantis Hunt

Three days later, Hu Liena accompanies Lin Qing and Xie Yue to Spirit Hall North Hunting Ground. She initially watches Lin Qing fight the mantis, then intervenes when the beast attacks Xie Yue. Her mental suppression and battlefield instructions help the group defeat it, enabling Lin Qing to obtain his fourth Soul Ring 29 30.

Core Training

After Lin Qing defeats Lu Qingya, Hu Liena informs him that his combat strength has exceeded the reserve team’s upper limit. He joins her, Xie Yue, and Yan in the north district, where the trio is entrusted with determining his training 31.

Hu Liena watches Lin Qing defeat Yan and Xie Yue in succession. Afterward, she tells him that his strength can no longer be considered that of a newcomer 32.

Nine Nether Bamboo Mission
