Ch. 176Bloodline Returned to Its Roots · Not Becoming a God

Nan Feng stripped the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s bloodline inheritance from Yu Xiaogang’s remains and returned it to Yu Tianheng, while explaining that Yu Xiaogang’s theory had been partly correct but too absolute. A Goddess of Life then visited Nan Feng, questioned why he refused godhood, and left reassured that he had no intention of entering the Divine Realm.

  • Yu Tianheng asked Nan Feng to extract the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s bloodline inheritance from Yu Xiaogang, and Nan Feng agreed to do only that.
  • Nan Feng and Bibi Dong visited the clan’s forbidden area, where Nan Feng removed the bloodline inheritance and told Yu Tianheng that Yu Xiaogang’s theory had been partly right but flawed by treating stolen conclusions as iron laws.
  • After returning to Heaven Dou City, Nan Feng met the Goddess of Life, who asked why he would not become a god, and he said he would remain in the mortal world to cultivate and protect his people.
  • The Goddess of Life said the Divine Realm was uneasy about the Immortal Dao Alliance’s growth, but she would tell the Law Enforcement Hall that Nan Feng had no plans to claim territory in the Divine Realm.
  • Bibi Dong told Nan Feng she had seen him glance at her when he said he would protect his people, and the two stood together as the fourth drop of Three Lights Divine Water began to condense.

Ch. 177Going Their Separate Ways

Nan Feng gathered his companions to let them choose whether to pursue godhood, cultivate the Immortal Dao, or remain in the mortal world, and promised to support them wherever they went. The group began following separate paths while staying connected through the Immortal Dao Alliance, and Nan Feng and Bibi Dong prepared to visit Tang Yuehua at Moonlight Pavilion.

  • Nan Feng told the gathered companions that he would not become a god and offered to help them pursue their chosen paths.
  • Ye Lingling chose to accompany Nan Feng, while Dugu Yan, Hu Liena, Huo Wu, Shui Bing'er, Bi Ji, Zi JI, Liu Erlong, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Zhuqing each described their plans to stay or return to their territories.
  • Tang Yuehua arrived and said she would wait for Nan Feng or go wherever he went, while Bibi Dong silently held his sleeve to show she would stay with him.
  • Nan Feng promised the group cultivation methods, Immortal Herbs, and Three Lights Divine Water, and Ye Lingling reaffirmed that she was coming with him.
  • Nan Feng arranged to visit Moonlight Pavilion with Bibi Dong the next day to help stabilize Tang Yuehua, and Bibi Dong asked if she was one of the people he wanted to protect; he confirmed that she was.

Ch. 178The Far North Pledges Its Allegiance

Nan Feng traveled to the Far North, where the Ice Empress and Snow Empress formally joined the Immortal Dao Alliance and he used Three Lights Divine Water to cleanse poison from the Far North Origin. After returning to Heaven Dou City, he discovered that his urgent communication token had been switched and bore the mark of the Divine Realm’s central authority, a pattern Bibi Dong recognized from the Rakshasa God’s inheritance.

  • Nan Feng reached Ice Valley and met the Ice Empress and Snow Empress, who agreed to have the Far North Immortal Alliance join the Immortal Dao and follow its rules.
  • Nan Feng put a drop of Three Lights Divine Water into the Far North Origin’s spring, drawing out a crystal that contained its hidden cold poison, which the Ice Empress destroyed.
  • The Ice Empress thanked Nan Feng, and the Snow Empress gave him Far North Cold Marrow before he left the next morning.
  • Nan Feng returned to Heaven Dou City and told Old Huai to register the Far North Immortal Alliance, but Old Huai warned him that the Law Enforcement Hall’s communication token had been switched.
  • Nan Feng found a golden line marking the Divine Realm’s central authority on the token, and Bibi Dong recognized the pattern from the Rakshasa God’s inheritance.

Ch. 179Moonlight Pavilion Stabilized · The Gold Pattern Is Bait

Nan Feng and Bibi Dong helped Tang Yuehua stabilize her Moonlight Martial Soul, which broke through to level forty, and Tang Yuehua planned to open an Immortal Dao etiquette class at Moonlight Pavilion. When they returned, Old Huai identified the gold pattern on the switched communication token as an Abyssal Outer Domain mark and warned that it was bait targeting Nan Feng, likely set by someone in the heart of the Divine Realm.

  • Nan Feng and Bibi Dong went to Moonlight Pavilion, where they helped Tang Yuehua complete her Moonlight Martial Soul and reach level forty.
  • Tang Yuehua shared her memories of Nan Feng's yearly visits and proposed teaching Immortal Dao cultivators etiquette and restraint at Moonlight Pavilion.
  • Nan Feng agreed to send new Immortal Dao Alliance disciples to Moonlight Pavilion for training, and Tang Yuehua asked him to visit again next year.
  • Bibi Dong urged Nan Feng to investigate the communication token's gold pattern once they returned to Heaven Dou City.
  • Old Huai revealed that the pattern was an Abyssal Outer Domain mark deliberately placed on the token as bait for Nan Feng, likely by someone in the heart of the Divine Realm.

Ch. 180Old Scar at the Secondhand Stall

Nan Feng traced the Abyssal mark on Holy Mother White Lotus’s communication token to Old Scar, who confessed to switching it and exposed several sleeper agents in Heaven Dou City. As new black Qi emerged from the Far North rift and a hidden mole remained in the Divine Realm, Nan Feng prepared to travel north after the city’s contact map was recovered.

  • Old Huai identified the token’s golden pattern as an Abyssal tracking mark, and Nan Feng and Bibi Dong traced the switch to a meeting near a western apothecary.
  • Huo Wu recalled the masked old man’s scar, and Nan Feng found Old Scar running a secondhand stall with Abyssal-marked books.
  • Old Scar confessed that he had switched Holy Mother White Lotus’s token and revealed three other Abyss sleeper agents, whom Shifang and his men captured that night.
  • Nan Feng kept the genuine token and decided not to pursue the Divine Realm mole until the Abyss made another move.
  • Shifang delivered a letter saying black Qi had returned to the Far North rift, and Nan Feng planned to head north after recovering the contact map.

Ch. 181Old Crow Delivers a Letter

Tang San taught children in Tide Sound Village and told Xiao Wu he had no desire to regain his divine positions. After a runner named Old Crow delivered a threatening letter identifying a hidden path beneath the village, Tang San and Xiao Wu prepared to guard Tide Sound Village against the people coming to retrieve him.

  • Tang San taught the village children about Soul Rings and the Mysterious Heaven Skill, then told a curious girl that he no longer wanted to be a god.
  • Tang San told Xiao Wu that he was content with village life and shared Nan Feng's warning about Abyssal sleeper agents and trouble in the Far North.
  • Shi Zhu reported a suspicious stranger at the beach, and Tang San recognized the man's token as the mark of an Abyssal sleeper agent.
  • Tang San confronted Old Crow at the beach while Xiao Wu blocked his escape, and they captured him after he delivered a note about a hidden path beneath Tide Sound Village.
  • Tang San and Xiao Wu planned to guard opposite ends of the village until Old Crow's contacts arrived at sunset.

Ch. 182The Ruined Temple in Suotuo City

Nan Feng discovered that an Abyss agent was stealing the Three Lights Divine Water-nurtured Blue Silver Grass from Yu Xiaogang’s grave and traced the operation to a ruined temple in Suotuo City. He decided to investigate the temple with Ye Lingling before traveling to the Far North to reinforce its seal.

  • Nan Feng watered Yu Xiaogang’s grave with Three Lights Divine Water and learned from Old Zhou that a thin man with half his left ear missing had been buying old manuscripts and asking about the grave.
  • Nan Feng realized the Blue Silver Grass might be the target, found fresh digging at the hillside, and pursued the culprit to a donkey cart carrying sorted grass.
  • The grass thief confessed that a proprietor had hired him and directed deliveries to a ruined temple outside Suotuo City; Nan Feng found an iron token linked to the proprietor’s network and sent the thief away with a warning.
  • Nan Feng and Old Huai replanted the stolen grass and concluded that the ruined temple was an Abyss stronghold seeking information from Yu Xiaogang’s Blue Silver Grass manuscript.
  • Nan Feng chose to go to Suotuo City first and bring Ye Lingling to examine the manuscript’s medicinal data, postponing his trip to the Far North.
