After gathering rare ores and surviving a fight with an Iron-Spined Bear, he reached Soul Power level eighteen and continued toward the level twenty needed to open the tower’s first-floor door and help Xiao Wu.

• Nan Feng was reborn in Blacksmith Village, awakened the Bronze Tower Martial Soul at level eight, and learned from Old Huai about the tower’s sealed powers and his unusual soul.
• Nan Feng entered Nuoding Academy, trained with Xiao Wu, rejected Yu Xiaogang’s guidance and the Shrek Academy invitation, and reached Soul Power level ten.
• Nan Feng killed a 920-year-old Bloodthirsty Demon Wolf, absorbed its Soul Ring, and gained Tower Suppression: Mountain Suppression, while Xiao Wu learned he knew her identity and asked him to help with her seal.

After his tournament victories and public attack on Yu Xiaogang’s theory drew Spirit Hall’s attention, Nan Feng prepared to leave Heaven Dou City for the Lake of Life.

• Nan Feng killed the Ghost-Faced Spider King and the Earth Fierce Bear King, absorbing their powerful Soul Rings and Soul Bones as his tower awakened new abilities.
• Nan Feng met Liu Erlong, challenged Yu Xiaogang’s Soul Ring theory, and later showed Yu Tianheng that his own Soul Ring Configuration disproved it.
• Nan Feng watched Shrek Academy from afar, examined Xiao Wu’s seal, and concluded that he needed to reach level forty before he could help her.

After returning, he visited Poison Mist Valley, survived Dugu Bo's poison trial, and learned more about the Primordial World relics as he set out to prepare for his Fourth Soul Ring.

• Nan Feng escaped Heaven Dou City ahead of Spirit Hall's pursuit, sacrificed his first Soul Ring, and entered Slaughter City to seek the Tower Spirit Fragment.
• Nan Feng teamed up with Hu Liena to reach the underground levels, killed the Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat King, and recovered a Tower Spirit Fragment that expanded his Tower Spirit Space.
• Nan Feng won one hundred arena matches, passed Hell Road, and gained the Mountain Suppression Art, Shifang's loyalty, and Divine Slaughter's Domain.
• Nan Feng returned to the surface and trained at Moonlight Pavilion, where he helped Tang Yuehua crack the seal suppressing her Moonlight Martial Soul.
