Zhang Sheng built a new life in the Sui Dynasty, cultivated his powers, and helped a village survive disaster and bandit attack. After defeating the bandits and humiliating Lord Jia, he strengthened Blue Silver Village’s defenses as news of its victory spread.

• Zhang Sheng woke in a child’s body, learned from Uncle Dashan that Yang Guang ruled the Sui Dynasty, and began cultivating his Martial Soul while adapting to village life.
• Zhang Sheng hunted in Bear Mountain, killed a tiger, and sold ginseng and a lingzhi to fund a sturdy new house, which he shared with Uncle Dashan’s family during a deadly snowfall.
• Zhang Sheng reached level 10 and then level 11, gained the healing Soul Skill Baptism of Life, and revealed his healing ability to Uncle Dashan, Lan Xin, and Lan Yun.
• Zhang Sheng used his wealth and Soul Skill to help the village prosper, declined the position of village chief, and proposed the name Blue Silver Village.
• After Constable Yu warned that bandits would attack, Zhang Sheng organized the villagers’ defense and led an ambush that captured or killed the entire bandit force.
• Zhang Sheng learned that Lord Jia had arranged the raid, abducted him from Heshui County, and hung him at the city gate with a warning letter.
• Zhang Sheng returned to Blue Silver Village, arranged for a wall and a trained guard force, and agreed to provide Old Sun’s son with his sole medicinal herb of at least five hundred years.

Zhang Sheng developed Blue Silver Village, protected its people from officials and soldiers, and discovered that Zhangsun Wugou could cultivate Soul Power. After teaching her and taking her as his junior sister, he received a visit from Yuwen Chengdu, who came to apologize and test his strength.

• Zhang Sheng built up Blue Silver Village, welcomed Zhangsun Wuji and Zhangsun Wugou, and later met Fang Xuanling, who taught at the village school.
• Zhang Sheng defeated men sent to steal his salt-making method, then returned Wang Ergou to canal labor and sheltered workers who escaped the Grand Canal project.
• Murong Yun confronted Lan Yun, and Zhang Sheng and his companions fought Murong Yun’s soldiers until Murong Yun seized Zhangsun Wugou as leverage.
• Zhang Sheng struck down Murong Yun, then healed Zhangsun Wugou after a guard stabbed her, but collapsed from exhaustion.
• Zhang Sheng discovered that Zhangsun Wugou could cultivate Soul Power, demonstrated his Martial Soul to her and Zhangsun Wuji, and took her as his junior sister.
• Zhangsun Wuji left Wugou in Zhang Sheng’s care, and Zhang Sheng taught her to sense and cultivate Soul Power while Yuwen Chengdu traveled to Blue Silver Village.
• Yuwen Chengdu visited Zhang Sheng, apologized for the Yuwen Clan’s attack, and asked for a match, but Zhang Sheng sent Lan Yun to test him first.
• Lan Yun challenged Yuwen Chengdu with her great hammer and smashed a huge crater into the training ground, startling him.
