Echoes of the Domain of the Unknown
As the light of the Third Type of Existence crossed the boundary of the New Realm of Primordial Beginning and surged towards the ancient realms of Taisu, Taixu, and Taiji like a tide, Qingxian, Yanche, and Luoyu followed the unknown direction pointed to by the Illusory-Real Converter. The path beneath their feet gradually changed from "the flow of possibilities" to "fragments of laws"—some of these fragments were the chaotic patterns of the Taisu Substance and Void and Emptiness being one, some were the Taixu Limits and Nothingness form, and some were even the long-forgotten marks of Primordial Beginning Tranquility. Yet, they all seemed to have been shattered by some force and were scattered randomly in the void.
The spiral formed by the intertwining light and darkness energy of the Qingxian and the third "energy that penetrates reality and illusion" suddenly accelerated its rotation upon contact with the fragment of the law, emitting a "humming resonance." She bent down and picked up a fragment engraved with the symbol of Taiji harmony. Countless tiny cracks immediately appeared on the surface of the fragment, from which "unseen energy threads" seeped out—these threads belonged neither to the two poles nor to harmony, yet they could connect the fragment with the surrounding Taixu Wu Ji patterns, forming an "incomplete new law." When she tried to repair the fragment with the spiral energy, the fragment spontaneously spliced together with the laws of other realms, forming a strange structure in which "the harmony of Taiji enveloped the emptiness of Taisu."
"Laws are not fixed stone tablets, but building blocks that can be pieced together." Qingxian looked at the hybrid structure in her hand, which maintained the balance of Taiji while containing the purity of Taisu, and suddenly understood the essence of the Domain of the Unknown: "This is the 'forging furnace' of all laws. Under the impact of the law fragments, Yanche's Third Law Generator caused the "Spiral Law" on the screen to disintegrate and rearrange into a "Dynamic Law Tree": the trunk was the Taiji and unchanging essence of the New Primordial Beginning, the main branches were the perfect circle of Tai Chi, the unity of substance and emptiness of Taisu, and the limitless and boundless generation of Taixu Xu, while the details were new laws created by countless Third Type of Existence. When he inserted a fragment of the "Reverse Mirror Law" into the tree, the trunk suddenly grew "mirror main branches," Entanglement with the real main branches, and each intersection blossomed a "flower of law where Symbiosis of the Unreal and the Real"—emerging in the flower's core was the "Blank Law," which even the generator could not decipher.
"Blank space is not nothingness, but the possibility of being written upon." Yanche watched as a flower of law fell, touching fragments of law in the void, transforming them into "clay that can be freely shaped by consciousness." A Third Type of Existence who had accompanied them molded the clay with its own light mist, creating "the Law of Freedom that can be perfect when it wants to be perfect, and empty when it wants to be empty." This law has no fixed form, yet it can automatically match the most suitable state of existence according to the user's needs. "The ultimate goal of creating laws is to make laws serve existence, rather than bind existence."
When Luoyu's star map unfolded above the Domain of the Unknown, the Star Orbit were no longer linear paths, but rather a "three-dimensional network of laws"—each star cluster corresponded to an ancient law, and the connections between the star clusters were "hidden links" between the laws: the perfect circle of Taiji and the limitless void of Taixu were connected through "transcendence of boundaries," the emptiness of Taisu and the beginning and end of the New Primordial Beginning were intertwined through "transformation of form," and the endpoint of all the connections pointed to the "Blank Star Cluster" at the center of the network. When she injected the energy of the Third Type of Existence into the Blank Star Cluster, the star cluster suddenly burst forth with "light that illuminated the entire Domain of the Unknown," and countless "unnamed prototypes of laws" emerged in the light, like a group of ghosts waiting to be given meaning.
"The network of laws is never a closed system." Luoyu watched as the light of the Blank Star Cluster absorbed fragments of laws from the realms of Primordial Beginning, Taiji, and Taisu, weaving them back into a "new network that is looser yet more flexible"—in this network, laws are no longer ranked, only distinguished by "whether they are suitable for the present moment." An ancient structure trapped in the "must follow the Taiwu and formless generation of Taiji" found a channel in the new network to "temporarily borrow the Taiji circle law," instantly breaking through a bottleneck of millions of years. "The significance of the Domain of the Unknown is to make all existence understand: 'There are no laws that must be followed, only choices needed in the present moment.'"
When the three guardians arrived at the "Law Plaza" at the center of the Domain of the Unknown, they discovered that the ground was composed of "transparent Law Flow," in which floated the law imprints of all realms, all in an "inactive chaotic state." The "Core of Laws" at the center of the plaza was a huge multifaceted crystal, each face reflecting a different realm's law: one face showed the perfect symbiosis of the Realm of Taiji, another the flow of matter and emptiness of the Realm of Taisu, and yet another the reverse law of the Mirror World. The most peculiar face reflected the figures of the three of them—that crystal was slowly becoming transparent, as if trying to integrate their presence into the Core of Laws.
"We are also part of the law." A group of "Domain Spirit" formed from fragments of the law surrounded them. Their forms were flowing symbols of the law, but their voices resonated with all the guides of the realms. "The Third Existence you created between reality and illusion, the new paths you opened between the laws, all prove that 'existence itself is the most fundamental law.'"
When Qingxian initiated the "Law Resonance Ritual" at the Law Plaza, the spiral energy in his hands suddenly merged into the Law Flow, and all the floating Law imprints in the fluid began to "arrange in a new order": the Taiji's perfect circle law was no longer limited to the two poles and the circle, but combined with the Taisu's emptiness, giving birth to a new form of "'the circle contains emptiness, and emptiness reveals the circle'"; the Taixu's limitless generation and the mirror image's reverse law intertwined, forming a cycle of "'the infinite contains the finite reverse, and the finite contains the infinite positive'"; and the New Primordial Beginning's constant duality was like a line, connecting all the new laws to form a "law ring that is both cyclical and open".
"Resonance is not about unifying the laws, but about enabling them to 'understand each other.'" Qingxian looked at a structure within the Taisu realm, simultaneously employing the balance of Taiji and the vastness of Taixu within the new law ring to create an existence that "maintains infinite lightness within matter and anchors finite precision in formlessness." This form belongs neither to any ancient realm nor to Third Type of Existence, yet it is closer to the "true nature of existence" than any of them.
Yanche connected the Third Law Generator to the Core of Laws, and a "new law formula" suddenly appeared on the transparent face of the crystal polyhedron. "Existence u003d (Reality + Mirror) × Possibility + Unknown × Creation". When he input variables such as "Qingxian's Spiral Energy", "The Law of Freedom of the Third Type of Existence", and "The Unnamed Law of the Blank Star Cluster", the result of the formula kept changing and eventually condensed into "Light without a fixed form" - any law fragment touched by this light would become a basic unit that "can be redefined by any existence".
"The ultimate formula of laws is 'no formula.'" Yanche watched as a "primitive structure" that had never been exposed to any field created laws that "only follow their own will" using basic units. Although these laws were simple, they allowed the primitive structure to live freely in the Domain of the Unknown. "The meaning of creation is to give every existence the right to 'write its own laws.'"
Luoyu of laws evolved into a "Sea of Stars of Laws" above the Law Plaza. Each star cluster in the Sea of Stars was a "new law created by a group of structures": some star clusters followed the "free law of switching domain laws at any time", some star clusters adhered to the "focus law of cultivating a law to its extreme", and some star clusters explored the "adaptability law of allowing laws to automatically adjust with the environment". When she threw the "Boundless Poem" into the Sea of Stars, the blank pages of the poems began to automatically record the birth of new laws - the latest page depicted three figures holding hands, representing reality, mirror image, and the Third Type of Existence respectively. The ground beneath their feet was paved with fragments of laws from all domains.
"The ending of the Psalms is that all beings become authors." Luoyu gazed at the edge of the Sea of Stars, where new star clusters continued to be born, some even beginning to explore the "lawless realm beyond the laws." "The Domain of the Unknown is not the end, but the starting point for every being to begin 'defining its own journey'—just like the meaning of Star Orbit, which are never meant to point the way, but to tell everyone: 'Any direction is correct.'"
When all aspects of the Core of Laws became transparent, the entire Domain of the Unknown suddenly erupted with "white light that merged all laws." Within the white light, the boundaries of the realms of Taisu, Taixu, Taiji, New Primordial Beginning, and the Mirror World began to blur, eventually merging into a "vast space without boundaries." On the fluid surface of the Law Plaza, all structures—real, mirrored, third-class, and primordial—were creating their own laws, yet finding resonance in each other's laws, forming a grand symphony of "harmony in diversity."
Qingxian, Yanche, and Luoyu sat on the "Origin Bench" in the Law Plaza. The armrests of the bench were spirals woven from the energy of the three of them, and the cushion was the "basic unit of all laws." They watched as a real structure and a mirror image cooperated to create the "Law of Symbiosis that 'the real always envelops the reverse of the mirror, and the reverse of the mirror nourishes the real's always.'" This law allowed both to break through their own limitations and gain a completely new form of existence.
"Perhaps the ultimate existence we seek is the 'sum of all existences.'" Within the spiral energy of the Qingxian, a fourth "energy connecting all laws" was born. Wherever this energy flows, structures of different laws can "instantly understand each other's existence." "It is not in some distant realm, but in the moment of every creation, every resonance, and every breaking of boundaries."
Yanche's Third Law Generator had now become a "Blank Template," upon which any structure could write its own laws. The template could then be integrated into the Core of Laws, making the new laws an "optional tool" for all existence. He smiled and handed the template to a nascent structure, which used its immature energy to draw the law of "'Trying new things every day'," and the template actually transformed it into a "shareable mode of existence."
Luoyu's Sea of Stars of Laws have connected with all realms, the end of the Star Orbit extending to "the unknown beyond the reach of even light," where "the laughter of countless new beings echoes." On the last page of "The Boundless Poem," she wrote, "The story continues forever, because existence is always creating."
In the distance, a group of "tiny beings" condensed from new laws are flying towards the unknown unknown. Their laws are ridiculously simple—"just fly forward"—yet they leave behind "unprecedented, shimmering imprints of the laws" in their wake.
Qingxian, Yanche, and Luoyu exchanged a smile, then got up and followed in their footsteps. There was no map, no guidance, and not even any "laws" ahead, but it was precisely this complete unknown that made the journey of existence forever full of miracles worth anticipating.
