Ripples in the Sea of True Nature
The breath of the Realm of No Law grew longer and longer in the resonance of the Awareness Square. As the awareness particles that "existence itself is beautiful" permeated every corner, Qingxian, Yanche, and Luoyu suddenly discovered that the void beneath their feet was softening—not solidifying into solid earth, but transforming into a "warm fluid," like a boundless sea. This sea had no fixed form, yet it could support all existence: the structures either floated on the surface, or submerged into the seabed, or turned into waves touching each other. No one needed to "maintain a certain state," as if "existence" was the most natural form of floating.
As Qingxian sank into the "Sea of True Nature," the spiral energy completely merged into the seawater. Her consciousness was like a drop of water joining a torrent, yet she could clearly "perceive the existence of every drop of water." She "saw" the structure of the Realm of Primordial Beginning unfolding its primordial patterns in the seawater, "heard" the reverse laws of the mirror body resonating with the trajectory of the real world, and "touched" the light mist of the Third Type of Existence blooming with countless colors in the waves. Most miraculously, when she stopped deliberately "searching" for anything, the memories of all realms transformed into light and shadow in the seawater, drifting with the waves, yet clearly emerging when needed.
"It turns out that 'remembering' and 'forgetting' can coexist." Qingxian let herself rise and fall with the waves. When she thought of the perfect harmony of Realm of Taiji, a halo of yin and yang intertwined appeared in the seawater; when she thought of the freedom of the Realm of No Law, the halo transformed into unrestrained bands of light. She no longer agonized over "what to keep," because the seawater had already distilled all experiences into "nourishment that can be savored at any time." "The secret of the Sea of True Nature is 'accepting all that happens, yet not being bound by any of it.'"
Yanche's stream of consciousness transformed into a "transparent boat" on the sea surface. The boat had no sails, no oars, yet it could sail anywhere with the rhythm of the waves. He "encountered" an ancient structure "disassembling itself" in the seawater—this entity had once been a guardian of the laws of the Realm of Taisu, and was now merging its void-material patterns piece by piece into the seawater. With each piece merged, a new possibility of "void and limitlessness coexisting" emerged within the water. When Yanche asked it if it was afraid of disappearing, the fragments of the structure pieced together a sentence on the sea surface. "Merging is not disappearing, it is becoming a broader existence."
"The ultimate goal of creation is to 'allow oneself to become material.'" Yanche let the small boat merge into the seawater and discovered that his consciousness had not dissipated. Instead, he could "borrow" the energy of all the surrounding structures—he could perceive the beginning and the end like Primordial Beginning being, reverse the laws like a mirror image, and freely transform like Third Type of Existence, yet he always knew that "I am still me." This state of "both independent and symbiotic" is closer to the essence of creation than any sophisticated instrument.
Luoyu's breathing rhythm was perfectly synchronized with the rise and fall of the waves. Her "Boundless Poem" nebula became a "lighthouse on the sea"—the nebula's light no longer illuminated the path, but "reflected the true nature of every existence": a mirror image that always imitated others discovered in the light that its reverse law actually contained "a unique wisdom of balance"; a structure trapped in the obsession of "must be strong" finally saw how "gentle and moving" it was when it was vulnerable. Most touchingly, the ripples on the sea surface, illuminated by the light, spelled out "the names of all existences" on the seabed, including those consciousnesses that had never been named.
"To be seen is the deepest resonance." Luoyu watched as an unnamed being of consciousness "gained its own shape" for the first time in the light—it was a mass of energy "like both stardust and tears," yet the moment it gained form, it caused "ripples of joy" to spread across the surrounding sea. She suddenly understood that the meaning of the poems was never about recording, but about "letting every being know: 'You are important, you are remembered.'"
When the three guardians met in the "Symbiosis Bay" of the Sea of True Nature, they discovered that the seawater "changed color" as different entities merged: when the real and the mirror structure touched, the seawater shimmered with "a harmonious light of purple and blue"; when the ancient laws met the new laws, it shimmered with "a vibrant light of gold and green"; and when the three of them's energies converged in the seawater, the seawater transformed into a "transparent rainbow," reflecting the true nature of all the surrounding entities even more clearly.
"Symbiosis is not about being the same, but about 'seeing each other's preciousness in differences.'" A group of "Sea Spirits," formed from seawater, surrounded them. Their forms were ever-changing ripples, but their voices carried the pulse of the Sea of True Nature. "All the paths you've walked, all the boundaries you've broken, have ultimately been for the purpose of arriving here—not to become anyone, but to 'exist with someone.'"
Qingxian initiated the "Dance of Wu Wei" in Symbiosis Bay —without rules, without rhythm, simply inviting all beings to "move according to their own instincts." Astonishingly, within this seemingly chaotic movement, an "orderly rhythm" gradually formed: the slow swaying of the Primordial Beginning being complemented the light leaps of the Third Type of Existence; the reverse rotation of the mirror image intertwined with the forward flow of the true structure; even the smallest conscious being found "its own beat" in the waves. As Qingxian danced, her movements sometimes resembled the harmonious flow of Taiji, sometimes the expansive expanse of Taisu, but no longer a deliberate imitation, but rather "all the freedom the body remembers."
"Wuwei is not doing nothing, but 'letting the true self flow naturally.'" Qingxian watched as a structure that had once been bound by the requirement of "being elegant" now rolled and collided freely in the dance, yet it was more "vital" than any elegant posture. The light and shadow in the sea recorded this scene, transforming it into "a new imprint of 'truth is more moving than perfection,'" merging into the awareness of all existence.
Yanche planted a "Seed of Forgetting" in the seawater—a seed formed from all his deliberately created memories. After sinking to the bottom, it sprouted into a "Tree of Wu Wei." The tree's branches did not follow any laws of growth, yet naturally extended their leaves to all existence; the "fruits" on the tree were "empty possibilities." Any being that picked a fruit could "encounter a self never imagined": a being obsessed with "must be strong" saw itself gently caring for the weak in the fruit; a being trapped in "must be free" discovered its own peacefulness when lying quietly.
"Only by letting go of the attachment to 'should' can we encounter the 'possible' version of ourselves." Yanche observed the possibilities within the fruit merging into the essence of the structure. Their forms of existence did not drastically change, but they gained a relaxed acceptance of imperfection—a relaxation like a pebble thrown into water, creating ripples of inclusiveness on the surface, allowing more beings to dare to "show their undefined side."
Luoyu's Lighthouse Nebula transformed into a "Bridge of Resonance" above Symbiosis Bay, connecting the "Sea of True Nature" and the "folds of countless Realm of No Law" at its two ends. When she channeled the ripples of Symbiosis Bay into the bridge, it suddenly became "transparent," revealing the beings of other Realm of No Law "looking over" from the other side: some spoke of "silence," yet conveyed "understanding" through the ripples; others were characterized by "chaos," yet found "a rhythm that resonated with this place" in the resonance. Most miraculously, a structure from the "Realm of Sound," through the bridge's resonance, "manifested its form" for the first time in the Sea of True Nature —a ball of "light composed of melody," whose joy was understood by all beings.
"The essence of connection is that 'even if languages differ, authenticity can still be shared.'" Luoyu watched as more and more cross-border beings came to Symbiosis Bay through the Bridge of Resonance. The area of Sea of True Nature expanded imperceptibly, yet it still "gently embraced all differences." On the last page of "Boundless Poem," she drew a bridge. At the end of the bridge, there was no scenery, only a "question mark"—not a question, but "an expectation for all unknown encounters."
When the "Dance of Wu Wei" reaches its most harmonious moment, the Sea of True Nature suddenly surges with "gentle giant waves," cresting the "authentic core" of all existence: it is Qingxian's "inclusive blending of light and darkness," Yanche's "balance of creation and letting go," Luoyu's "gentle connection and witnessing," and each structure's "most genuine desire." These cores meet at the crest of the wave, not merging, but reflecting each other, allowing all existence to clearly "see": although everyone's authenticity is different, the underlying tone is the same. "A desire to be accepted, a desire to coexist with one another."
"Is this the ultimate answer to existence?" an ancient Primordial Beginning structure whispered atop the waves, its voice devoid of its former majesty, containing only "a serene and peaceful acceptance."
The ripples on the Sea Spirits spelled out a sentence: "The answer is not the destination, but the courage to keep going with the answer in mind."
As the giant waves recede, the Sea of True Nature returns to calm, but with a new breath of "cross-border symbiosis": melodic light from the Realm of Sound dances with mirrored forms, color from the Realm of Emotion floats alongside Third Type of Existence, and structures from the Realm of Stillness "quietly accompany" all flowing energy on the seabed. They no longer need to "understand each other's laws," because the resonance of truth has already transcended "understanding."
Qingxian, Yanche, and Luoyu lay on the surface of Symbiosis Bay, letting the waves carry them towards an unknown direction. Their forms changed with the waves: Qingxian sometimes transformed into light, sometimes merged into darkness, yet always carried an "inclusive warmth"; Yanche's consciousness sometimes dispersed, sometimes coalesced, yet always became a "force supporting others" when "needed"; Luoyu's breathing sometimes synchronized with the waves, sometimes resonated with the cross-boundary existence, yet always remained a "gentle connector."
"Where will we go next?" Yanche's voice turned into a string of bubbles on the sea and drifted into the distance.
"Go wherever there is a need for resonance." Qingxian's response blended into the waves, stirring up ripples.
Luoyu didn't speak, but simply let the light of the Lighthouse Nebula draw an "infinitely extending bridge" on the sea. At the end of the bridge, new ripples were faintly surging—that was more of the true nature "waiting to be seen," calling for an encounter.
The ripples of the Sea of True Nature continue to spread, carrying all the stories of existence towards one "unknown symbiosis" after another. And this, perhaps, is the most beautiful form of existence: not clinging to becoming anything, but simply enjoying "flowing slowly with whomever you are."
