Wang Xingyu, Tang San, and Xiao Wu grew stronger at Nuoding Academy, founded the Tang Sect, and developed a shared cultivation method that helped Tang San absorb a thousand-year Soul Ring. After earning their own powerful abilities and graduating, the three set their sights on Shrek.

• Wang Xingyu and Tang San awakened Blue Silver Grass Martial Souls, and Wang Xingyu helped Tang San understand his hidden Clear Sky Hammer and family history.
• Wang Xingyu and Tang San entered Nuoding Academy, where Tang San gained an Iron Thorn Soul Ring and Xiao Wu became Dorm Seven’s boss.
• Wang Xingyu reached level ten, absorbed a Rotten Soil Earthworm Soul Ring, and gained Life Drain, while Tang San and Xiao Wu became his sworn siblings.
• Wang Xingyu, Tang San, and Xiao Wu formed the Triangle Cycle, a linked cultivation method that improved all three of their Soul Power.
• Wang Xingyu proposed that Tang San take a thousand-year Offshoot Vine Soul Ring, and Dean Fang helped the trio hunt the Soul Beast.
• Wang Xingyu and Xiao Wu used the Triangle Cycle to support Tang San’s absorption, and Tang San gained the Offshoot skill and reached level twenty-one.
• Xiao Wu gained a thousand-year Second Soul Ring and Moonfall, while Wang Xingyu later reached level twenty and gained the Flying Fluff support skill from a dandelion Soul Ring.
• Wang Xingyu bought storage tools for Xiao Wu and Tang San, and the three graduated from Nuoding Academy with Shrek as their next destination.

Wang Xingyu accompanied Tang San and Xiao Wu to Shrek Academy, where the newcomers passed Zhao Wuji’s test and joined the other students. After their Star Dou Great Forest expedition and months of Grandmaster’s training, Wang Xingyu invited the group to join the Tang Sect, while Xiao Wu helped Ma Hongjun confront Bu Le.

• Wang Xingyu traveled with Tang San and Xiao Wu to Shrek Academy, where the three passed the entrance tests and helped defeat Zhao Wuji before the incense ran out.
• Wang Xingyu and Tang San discovered Ma Hongjun’s trouble with Cuihua, and Xiao Wu beat Ma Hongjun in a fight.
• Flender sent the students to earn Silver Soul Badges in Suotuo City, where Wang Xingyu teamed with Ma Hongjun and helped contain his Evil Fire.
• Wang Xingyu and the Shrek students traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest, where Oscar obtained a Soul Ring, the Titan Giant Ape carried Xiao Wu away, and Tang San chased after them.
• Tang San killed a Man Faced Demon Spider and gained its Soul Ring and External Soul Bone, while Wang Xingyu later reunited with Tang San and Xiao Wu.
• Yu Xiaogang arrived at Shrek Academy and credited Wang Xingyu’s advice with helping Luo Sanpao grow stronger, then began training the students.
• Grandmaster put the students through combat, weighted runs, gravity exercises, and blindfold drills, and after three months they worked together more effectively.
• During the group’s seven-day break, Wang Xingyu invited the students to join the Tang Sect, and Xiao Wu defeated Bu Le after Wang Xingyu and Xiao Wu found him attacking Ma Hongjun.

Wang Xingyu and Tang San led the Shrek Eight Monsters through arena victories before Dugu Bo took them to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where their Son of Blue Silver fusion grew stronger. After returning to Shrek with new abilities and allies, they began drawing the Strength Clan toward Tang San and the Tang Sect.

• Wang Xingyu and Ma Hongjun won their first team match as the Fat Fish Combination, and the Shrek Eight Monsters went on to defeat the Mad Battle Team and other arena opponents.
• Tang San and Wang Xingyu helped Shrek defeat the Imperial Fighting Team, and Wang Xingyu cheered Flender by revealing that Liu Erlong had opened Blue Tyrant Academy.
• Dugu Bo abducted Tang San and Wang Xingyu, but Tang San negotiated time to treat Dugu Bo and his granddaughter before he and Wang Xingyu cultivated at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.
• Wang Xingyu and Tang San revealed the Son of Blue Silver, drew poison from Dugu Bo, and later reunited with Xiao Wu to cultivate and hunt Soul Rings together.
• Tang San and Xiao Wu gained powerful new abilities and ten-thousand-year Soul Rings, while Dugu Bo agreed to advise Shrek Academy.
• Tang San distributed Immortal Herbs among the Shrek students, helping Ma Hongjun overcome his Evil Fire and triggering advances in several classmates' Soul Powers and Martial Souls.
• Wang Xingyu, Tang San, and Xiao Wu visited the Heaven Dou auction house, where they met Ning Fengzhi and Chen Xin and discussed the plight of the waitresses.
• Tai Nuo confronted Tang San and his companions, but Wang Xingyu claimed a connection to the Strength Clan, and Tang Hao confirmed Tang San's identity to Tai Tan before leaving with him to catch up.

Shrek Academy grew stronger through the tournaments and overcame Spirit Hall Academy in the final. After Tang Hao attacked the Pope’s Palace, Wang Xingyu, Tang San, and Xiao Wu disappeared as planned.

• Shrek’s students obtained new Soul Rings and abilities, then began competing in the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Tournament.
• Shrek defeated the Heaven Dou Second Team, Elephant Armor Academy, Blazing Fire Academy, and other opponents while Wang Xingyu absorbed Shi Nian’s Head Soul Bone.
• Tang San defeated Feng Xiaotian after revealing the Clear Sky Hammer, and Shrek won the promotion tournament.
• Spirit Hall’s forces ambushed Shrek on the road to Spirit City, but Dugu Bo and the Golden Sacred Dragon protected the group.
• Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing defeated Star Luo Royal Academy with their own Hell White Tiger fusion, and Shrek advanced to the final three.
• Tang San’s Clear Sky Hammer helped Shrek defeat New Godwind Academy, sending the team to face Spirit Hall Academy.
• Shrek overcame Spirit Hall’s Demon Charm fusion, and Tang San defeated Hu Liena as Bibi Dong conceded the tournament.
• Wang Xingyu distributed the three Soul Bones and refused Bibi Dong’s offer, then Tang Hao attacked the Pope’s Palace while Wang Xingyu, Tang San, and Xiao Wu vanished according to plan.
