Sharingan
As the fine threads from the little tree returned to his body, a second black Soul Ring slowly emerged around Han Yu, circling up and down.
At the same time, the little tree returned to his mental space. The second black Soul Ring was embedded in the small branch that held the Clear Sky Hammer, nestled tightly against the first.
A second branch had also grown from the little tree's trunk. A tiny Blue Silver Grass was embedded in the middle of it, with delicate golden patterns on its body.
Han Yu was quite familiar with this Blue Silver Grass. It was the Blue Silver Emperor. He looked at the ground beside the little tree and discovered that a Yellow Soul Ring was now hovering around the Blue Silver Emperor. Moments later, the Yellow Soul Ring slowly turned purple, then grew darker and darker until it became deep purple, only then coming to a stop.
The deep-purple Soul Ring settled around the Blue Silver Emperor and was gradually absorbed. A deep-purple Soul Ring also slowly appeared at the base of the branch holding the Blue Silver Grass.
The Blue Silver Emperor absorbed the Soul Ring completely. A white Soul Ring then appeared around it, turning yellow in an instant.
Han Yu watched this happen, astonished.
So this is what the little tree's branches are for. Can it devour a Martial Soul for my own use every ten levels? And the Blue Silver Emperor can actually produce Soul Rings on its own.
Han Yu stroked his chin and thought, his brows slightly furrowed.
While he was thinking, the Blue Silver Emperor once again absorbed the deep-purple Soul Ring completely. Another deep-purple Soul Ring then appeared on the branch holding the Blue Silver Grass.
Having done that, the Blue Silver Emperor seemed a little tired. Even its previously dancing vines stopped moving, as though it had fallen asleep.
After witnessing everything, Han Yu returned to reality and felt a current of energy flow from all parts of his body to his eyes. His eyes grew warm, as though they were basking in sunlight.
"What? What's happening?"
Han Yu stood where he was, breathing slightly heavily as he felt the changes in his eyes, unsure what was going on.
A moment later, the energy in his body vanished. Han Yu let out a long breath and opened his eyes, only to find that everything before him had become so clear that he could even make out the feathers on a bird a hundred meters away.
"Is this an External Soul Bone?"
Han Yu was somewhat surprised, but then dismissed the idea.
"No, the Blue Silver King didn't even have a body. Where would an eye External Soul Bone come from?"
Rather than keep puzzling over it, he might as well take out a mirror and look. Han Yu took a mirror from his Soul Tool, and what he saw in the next moment left him dumbstruck.
His appearance in the mirror had not changed in the slightest. He still had delicate features and black hair. But his eyes, which had also been black, were now red, with a single black Tomoe slowly turning in each.
"This??? Is this the Sharingan?"
Han Yu was struck speechless. He finally understood why his little tree could devour other Martial Souls. It was exactly like the God Tree in "Naruto."
The difference was that the God Tree in "Naruto" absorbed Tailed Beasts, while his God Tree could devour Martial Souls.
"Does that mean that if I devour nine Martial Souls and finish absorbing their Soul Rings, I can reach Six Paths?"
Han Yu had a vague guess and was immensely excited. He had been wondering where he could inherit a godhood; otherwise, he would always be an ant.
If my guess is right, then it must be so.
At that moment, Han Yu even wanted to burst out laughing. The worry that had long weighed on his heart had finally lifted.
In Douluo I, there were only four godhoods known in the open.
The Sea God, the Rakshasa God, the Angel God, and the strongest of them all, the Asura God.
Of these, the token for taking part in the Sea God's trials should be the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, also known as the Heart of the Ocean.
The Rakshasa God's and Asura God's godhoods were in Slaughter City, and neither of them was someone to be trifled with.
He could forget about the Angel God altogether. First, he needed an Angel Martial Soul, and he could only undertake the Godhood Inheritance with Qian Daoliu's permission.
No matter which godhood it was, he needed the previous god's approval before he could take the godhood trials.
Han Yu still did not know whether he belonged to Douluo Continent. If he were discovered, the show would really begin.
The Titan Giant Ape, the Sky Azure Bull Python, the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger. Even the Ferocious Beasts hidden deep within the Star Dou Great Forest.
Soul Beasts appeared in Han Yu's mind one after another. Finally, he took a deep breath, deactivated his Sharingan, and thought to himself,
You'd all better be good and wait for me there.
The worry in his heart was gone, and Han Yu was in an exceptionally fine mood. Humming a tune, he was about to leave when a breeze swept past, scattering the Blue Silver King's enormous, dried-up body into ashes on the ground. A bone amid the ashes glimmered with blue light.
"I forgot about this."
Han Yu slapped his forehead, walked over, and picked up the Blue Silver King's leg bone to examine it.
This Soul Bone was very close in color to the Blue Silver Emperor's Soul Bone, though slightly inferior. It, too, was a right leg bone.
"Can I still absorb this? I'll try it and see."
Looking at the Soul Bone in his hand, Han Yu frowned and summoned the God Tree.
The instant the God Tree appeared, it wrapped the bone in countless fine vines and drew it into its body in a flash.
The next moment, Han Yu felt the same sensation as when he had absorbed the Blue Silver Emperor's Soul Bone. The Soul Power in his body rose sharply, as did his recovery ability.
He recalled the God Tree. With no reason to remain here any longer, Han Yu turned his head and committed the sight before him to memory. His body slowly rose into the air, and he flew back the way he had come.
The moment he took flight, he felt that he was consuming much less Soul Power than before, and he was somewhat faster as well.
As Han Yu flew through the air, he felt another ability within him. He took a deep breath and used it. A faint blue light immediately spread out from him, enveloping everything within a hundred meters in the blink of an eye.
He discovered that countless plants on the ground were bowing before him in submission. Fine strands of spiritual power reached out to him, seemingly in greeting. At the same time, even with his eyes closed, he could clearly perceive everything around him through the plants on the ground.
The plants were also constantly replenishing the Soul Power he consumed. If his body were injured, they would heal it as well.
"Hahahahahahaha!"
The boy's ringing laughter spread through the air above the forest. His speed suddenly increased, and his figure vanished over the horizon in an instant, who knew how many times faster than on his way here.
"Old geezer! Let's go."
In high spirits, Han Yu soon flew to Tang Hao's side. He reached out, patted Tang Hao on the shoulder, and spoke.
"You're back? Huh?"
Tang Hao raised his head and looked at Han Yu with his bloodshot eyes, unable to help making a sound of surprise.
"What's wrong, old geezer?"
Han Yu asked in confusion. He did not know that he now seemed to have become one with nature itself. Unless someone looked at him with the naked eye, they could not sense his presence at all.
