The Destruction of the Baron's Wang Family
"Little sisters, what are your names? Big brother is a good person. I'm here to send you to be with your father." Su Tianyu beamed at the two little girls, speaking in a gentle voice.
"Really, big brother? You're taking us to see Daddy? You're so nice."
The younger girl looked at him with an innocent face, her phoenix eyes full of smiles.
"Little sister, don't be fooled. This person isn't even a member of our Wang Family. How could he take us to find Daddy?"
The girl on the right, who was a little over five, took her younger sister's hand and stepped forward, spreading her arms to shield her behind her.

A smile played on Su Tianyu's lips as he watched her. He slowly took a piece of candy and a small knife from his robes, bent down, and placed them on the ground. Then he said gently:

The little girl timidly stepped forward and looked at the candy and knife on the ground. Her little face scrunched up, as though she were hesitating over which choice would benefit her.

Not long after leaving the baron's residence, Su Tianyu looked back and saw a raging fire rising from the Wang Family's buildings, lighting up Heaven Lake City in the stillness of the night.
He traveled through the streets of Heaven Lake City until he reached a deserted spot. There, he changed out of his bloodstained clothes, which had dried in the wind, and put them in his Soul Tool to destroy after leaving Heaven Lake City.
He hurried to an unoccupied house whose escape route he had checked beforehand. At an abandoned well in the backyard, he drew a bucket of water, washed away the lingering traces of blood and its smell, and changed into another set of clean clothes.
Su Tianyu sniffed at himself to see whether any smell of blood remained. Only after confirming that there was no smell at all did he relax. This way, he could safely leave Heaven Lake City the next day.
Early the next morning, he arrived near Heaven Lake City's gates and quietly waited for them to open.
