Battle against the Dimensional Void Beast
Looking up at the Soul Beast standing on empty air, Su Tianyu hurled the Hidden Weapons in his hand at it, aiming for various parts of its body.
"Roar!"
The Dimensional Void Beast roared at Su Tianyu, its dragon eyes fixed on the Hidden Weapons shooting toward it. Purple light flickered faintly around its two dragon horns, and the space in front of it abruptly warped, forming something like a tornado tunnel that sucked the incoming Hidden Weapons inside.
After a flicker within the warped spatial tunnel, several iron nails shot out from inside it, speeding toward Su Tianyu on the ground below.
"Fuck!"
Watching the Hidden Weapons shoot out of the warped tunnel, Su Tianyu cursed inwardly. This unfamiliar Soul Beast was simply too bizarre.
He hurriedly used Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to dodge around the basin, only to find that no matter which direction he moved, the reflected Hidden Weapons kept speeding toward him. Su Tianyu's expression changed drastically, and he hurriedly lit up his second Soul Ring.
"Second Soul Skill, Golden Pupil Transformation."
A series of clangs rang out as his second Soul Skill's shield blocked the reflected Hidden Weapons.
Inside the shield, Su Tianyu looked at the Dimensional Void Beast standing overhead, his expression graver than ever before. This Soul Beast could stand on empty air and warp space-such a thing was simply unheard of. It could only be described as having nothing whatsoever in common with the Soul Beasts native to Douluo Continent.
After seeing its attack blocked, the Dimensional Void Beast, standing on empty air above, raised its enormous dragon eyes and looked at the human below. Its four limbs shifted slightly, a flash of white light appeared where it stood, and its figure vanished from midair.
When it reappeared, it was less than half a meter from Su Tianyu. It raised a sharp tiger claw and slammed it heavily against the shield.
Inside the shield, Su Tianyu felt as though he had been struck by a speeding train. A terrifying force sent him flying backward toward the rear of the basin.
Su Tianyu flew backward through the air, spraying a mouthful of blood before crashing heavily into the muddy ground. Dust rose and scattered throughout the basin, quickly obscuring both his vision and his figure.
"Cough, cough! Damn it! This Soul Beast is actually so strong. Not only can it stand on empty air, it can even teleport. This Soul Beast's innate Soul Skill is downright cheating."
Pale-faced, Su Tianyu climbed to his feet, spat out the blood still lingering in his mouth, and patted the dust from his clothes. He looked at the Dimensional Void Beast through gaps in the rising dust. If he hadn't used his second Soul Skill to protect himself in time, he would already have been lying on the ground, gravely injured and unable to get up.
Just what weaknesses and openings did this Soul Beast have? After its succession of attacks and maneuvers, Su Tianyu had been beaten into a daze, momentarily frightened by its innate Soul Skill.
The dust soon settled, and the Dimensional Void Beast's body appeared before Su Tianyu's eyes once more.
Looking at the Soul Beast a hundred meters ahead, Su Tianyu's eyes darted about as he considered whether he should run away, lest he end up losing his life.
A hundred meters away, the Dimensional Void Beast looked at Su Tianyu with mocking eyes, as if saying, Is that all you've got, you little scumbag? The corners of its beastly mouth curved into an exaggerated grin, and its humanlike dragon face was full of amusement.
"Damn, this beast has really become a spirit. It's even smarter than some Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts.
Su Tianyu looked at the Dimensional Void Beast laughing wildly with its mouth open. This beast had looked down on him, and in his heart, he wanted nothing more than to grind its bones to dust and scatter the ashes on the spot.
"Laugh, laugh, laugh! Laugh my ass!"
Looking at the exaggerated grin plastered across the beast's face, Su Tianyu was so angry that flames seemed to shoot thirty feet high. His face was so dark it looked ready to drip water. He immediately lit up his first Soul Ring, and the yellow Soul Ring shone brightly.
"First Soul Skill, Golden Pupil Illusory Realm."
An invisible illusory domain rapidly spread over a radius of three hundred meters. The Dimensional Void Beast, still laughing wildly, was startled into stopping. Its remarkably humanlike dragon eyes scanned the domain forming around it, its eyeballs darting rapidly from side to side.
It then raised a sharp tiger claw, leaving a flash of white light behind as its figure flickered to the edge of the domain's barrier. It raked its claw heavily across the surface of the shield.
A piercing scraping sound reached Su Tianyu's ears, making him frown. Seeing the Dimensional Void Beast still attacking at the edge of the domain, he immediately controlled the spiritual power within it and launched an attack at the beast.
Spiritual power surged through the domain like rippling ocean waves, spreading rapidly in every direction. At the domain's barrier, Mental Shock passed through the Dimensional Void Beast's body, and its fiercely attacking tiger claw paused slightly.
Seeing this excellent opportunity, Su Tianyu immediately used Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track and quickly came to a stop not far from the beast. He swiftly took the Godly Zhuge Crossbow from his Storage Soul Tool, aimed at the Dimensional Void Beast's vital points, and pulled the trigger.
"Whoosh-whoosh-whoosh!"
The cold arrowheads gleamed with a chilling light. The moment they shot out of the Godly Zhuge Crossbow, they made a deathly sound like a talisman summoning a life.
At the edge of the domain, the Dimensional Void Beast felt as though its brain had been struck by a stone after the spiritual attack hit it. Its vision blurred, and even its claw stopped attacking involuntarily. It shook its head desperately to ease the stabbing pain in its mind.
Before the pain in its mind had fully subsided, the Dimensional Void Beast immediately sensed a deadly danger approaching. Frightened, every hair on its tiger body stood on end. It tried to use its innate Soul Skill to teleport away from the danger, but its reaction was still a step too slow.
Forty-six arrowheads forged from Deep Sea Cold Iron sank deep into the Dimensional Void Beast's body, drawing a painful wail from the Soul Beast.
The Dimensional Void Beast turned around, its red dragon eyes streaked with blood. Looking at Su Tianyu fifty meters away, its eyes filled with killing intent. It opened its mouth and let out a thunderous roar. Deadly red light shone from its two dragon horns, and the space around it rapidly warped and spun.
At the sight, the hairs on Su Tianyu's body stood on end. A sense of danger different from the one before filled his heart, frightening him into hurriedly lighting up his second Soul Ring beneath his feet. He used his second Soul Skill to protect his life, pouring Soul Power into the second Soul Ring as if it cost nothing.
The second Soul Skill's shield had barely risen when the surrounding space began to spin and warp at high speed. A powerful twisting vortex formed around Su Tianyu and collapsed inward, making his second Soul Skill's shield creak under the strain, as though the spatial distortion would tear it apart the next second.
Frightened, Su Tianyu hurriedly poured the Soul Power within his body into his second Soul Ring to maintain the strength of his second Soul Skill's shield, making the beast's attack collapse on its own.
