Background / History

Meeting Su Jin in Chengdu

Chen Shen met Su Jin after watching her laps at Chengdu International Circuit from the control room. He praised her precise turn-in points, strong acceleration out of corners, and late braking, expressing surprise when she said it was her first time on a track. He invited her to the club’s evening gathering, where he introduced her to investors, industrialists, active and retired racers, and Elder Huo 8.

That evening, he openly declared that he wanted to pursue her. He admitted that he had seriously pursued three people before: two rejected him, while the third became his partner before they eventually separated.
