A statement about the recent plot

A reader in the group just complained that the plot of the last two days has been a bit weak. After reflecting on it, Chenxing realized that the chapters of the last two days were indeed poorly written, and I would like to apologize to all the readers.

These past two days, my original plan was to write some transitional chapters, then introduce Linley, and then use ten or twenty chapters to roughly describe Linley's new Legendary life (with the change of the protagonist, Linley's life trajectory will definitely change slightly).

The original plan was to continue interspersing secondary appearances of characters like Aiken, the Purple Blood Fiend, Luomiu throughout the story, but I've decided against it now. After all, the main character of this book is already Rog, and writing too much about Linley would just make it feel like filler.

Although Chenxing's novel "Lonely Soul" performed only moderately well, it did have a considerable number of subscribers who were paying to read it. Since Chenxing had put the book on the shelves, he must have considered the readers' feelings and couldn't just write based on his own emotions.

Today I'll adjust my approach and condense Linley's story into two or three chapters at most, then move on to the main plot.

As for the part about Linley's new experiences that was originally planned, it will still be placed in a side story after the finale if there is an opportunity in the future. This way, readers who do not want to read it can skip this part directly, and it will not affect the development of the main story.
