A separate note on the latest plot setting

Many readers have expressed their opinions regarding the new settings in the latest chapter, so I'm dedicating a separate chapter to explain them here.

The method for transcendence in this book is actually to introduce external forces. What kind of external forces? External forces that Hongmeng cannot control. In the Hongmeng Universe, Hongmeng is the absolute Sovereign, and apart from replicating the path of the original protagonist Linley, it is almost impossible for a second path to transcendence to exist.

There's no way around it; in the Hongmeng Universe, Hongmeng is too invincible. It doesn't stipulate what you can have, so it's very difficult for you to write anything.

Let me explain why I introduced the new setting in Chapter 77. Originally, this chapter was actually a thrilling duel between the protagonist and Gunther, a minor climax. The new setting, [Endless Void], was originally intended to be introduced two or three more chapters later, after the protagonist had reached the Paragon or even Sovereign.

However, it might be available soon, either this Friday or next week.

So this part was originally a later plot point, but I moved it to the beginning. I felt it was better to release controversial plot points before the book was published. Otherwise, I felt like I was deceiving the readers.

I'm writing this now before it's officially released, to avoid things getting even more complicated later. At least there are no paid chapters now, so I don't have to worry about readers complaining and demanding refunds later.

This is my first book, and I didn't originally intend to make money from it. So I'd rather see some data drop before it goes on sale than ruin my reputation.

Finally, since the editor has given me the opportunity to publish my work, I will finish it regardless of the results.

P. S.: The concept of [Endless Void] can be simply described as an endless chaotic Void world outside the Hongmeng Universe. There are other great universes on the same level as the [Hongmeng Universe] here. The endless Void is a world that even the Hongmeng cannot govern. Only here can one reasonably find the possibility of transcending the four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind.

If a large number of readers feel this is a flaw and don't accept it, then this book will simply skip the Endless Void. I'll just treat this as an Easter egg setting, and mention it briefly in the epilogue when the main characters reach their finale, roughly outlining it.

After all, if I'm going to sign a contract, I'm going to make money. If people don't buy into it, I'm not willing to write single-player games just out of passion, right?

Therefore, whether or not Rog can ultimately continue writing stories in the Endless Void does not entirely depend on me.

If you don't accept that, then I'll just honestly write Coiling Dragon, which will eventually be around 500,000 to 700,000 words, and I'll finish it quickly in two or three months.

If I can accept it and achieve results that support me in writing the later part of the Endless Void, then this book might be a long novel, perhaps one or two million words.

above.
