Background

Beibei encountered Huo Yutong after a Heaven and Earth Anomaly and was relieved to learn she had survived. He then met Tang Wulin, immediately expressed concern over the child traveling alone in the Star Dou Great Forest, and apologized after unintentionally bringing up Tang Wulin's missing parents. 2

As Mu En's great-grandson, Beibei possessed knowledge of the Dragon God legends. Tang Wulin's Golden Dragon King power instinctively terrified him, but Beibei recognized its significance and urged Tang Ya to report it to Shrek Academy. He subsequently brought Tang Wulin to meet Mu En and helped him enter Shrek early. 3
