Tang Wulin destroyed a Holy Spirit Cult branch, survived Yang Xiao’s attack with Huo Yutong’s help, and joined her in seeking allies and a way to strengthen himself. In the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, they gained access to Tang San’s hidden knowledge, and a Gray-robed Elder offered a way for the Water-Fire Dragon Kings to follow Tang Wulin.

• Tang Wulin and Gongyang Mo freed the White-clothed Men from the Holy Spirit Cult’s altar, and Tang Wulin killed the Holy Spirit Elder after hearing his claim that Shrek had forced him to join.
• Huo Yutong was arrested after Wang Shaojie lured her away, while Ma Xiaotao was captured and mutated by Feng Ling, who planned to take her to Shrek.
• Yang Xiao attacked Tang Wulin, who killed him after the Golden Dragon King’s power overtook him, and Huo Yutong rescued Tang Wulin from nearby Soul Engineers.
• Old Tang told Tang Wulin to seek herbs at Sunset Forest and revealed that his greatest wish was for Tang Wulin to survive all the seals, then dissipated after helping save him.

Tang Wulin gained the Dragon God’s power in Dragon Valley, but his return came nearly two years after Huo Yutong had believed him dead. He reunited with Huo Yutong at Sea God’s Fate, and they began repairing their relationship while confronting her fear of losing him again.

• Electrolux transformed the Water-Fire Dragon Kings into Tang Wulin’s Soul Spirits, strengthened Huo Yutong with new abilities and a Soul Spirit, and helped Tang Wulin create the Life Divine Realm to shelter the Immortal Herbs.
• Tang Wulin entered Dragon Valley with Xuan Zi, absorbed the Dragon Clouds and the Dragon God’s power, and survived the collapse of his seals with the Light Dragon King’s help.
• After the exit from Dragon Valley collapsed, Tang Wulin buried the dragon bones until the Light Dragon King sent him back to the outside world and asked him to find Little Hei and Little Bai.
