"First, make a solemn vow."

"I promise I will not share these training methods with anyone, nor will I use them against any member of the Zoldyck Family."

"Secondly, the District 13 will be permanently open to the Zoldyck Family."

"My people don't need your approval for any access routes, checkpoints, or transfer points to or from District 13."

"Third, wanted information from Meteor City will be prioritized for the Zoldyck Family."

"Any movement of a target related to the Zoldyck Family commission that you gather through your intelligence network must be known to my people before my men do."

He withdrew the finger and let it hang down again.

"If you can do these things, I can report to the family head, obtain authorization, and teach you the complete set of the family's basic assassination training materials."

After he finished speaking, he quietly looked at Jiang Ye, waiting for the final answer.

Jiang Ye remained silent, his mind filled with a multitude of thoughts.

The first point is the bottom line.

The Zoldyck Family will not allow any non-family members to learn their training methods unless a Nen oath locks off the spread.

This request is reasonable; he would have made the same request in his place.

He never intended to use the Zoldyck Family ' methods against the Zoldyck Family.

Perhaps some people in Meteor City would dare to have such an idea, but he didn't.

Jiang Ye knew perfectly well that the Zoldyck Family's strength was not solely due to their methodology.

The second point is long-term benefits.

The permanent opening of District 13 to the Zoldyck Family means that the assassin family can move freely within their territory.

On the surface, it appears to be a concession, but Jiang Ye knows the truth.

If the Zoldyck Family really need to operate on my territory, rather than being forcibly trampled over, it's better to let them in within a framework that I can control.

At least he now knows who's here.

The third method is exchanging intelligence for channels.

Meteor City has a large transient population, diverse factions, and a high mortality rate.

The Zoldyck Family needs a stable source of intelligence to screen targets, and Jiang Ye happens to have access to the increasingly dense intelligence network of District 13.

The three conditions combined are: controllable, not exceeding limits, and not fatal.

It's completely within acceptable limits.

Having figured all this out, Jiang Ye looked up at Yi Ermi, the smile still lingering on his lips.

"Transaction completed."

As soon as the two words were spoken, Irmie's eyebrows twitched, seemingly surprised that the other party didn't try to bargain.

Jiang Ye knew very well that in this kind of transaction, haggling would only make Illumi feel like you were stalling for time.

The Zoldyck Family ' negotiation logic is to present the conditions; if they are acceptable, great; if not, find another way to resolve the issue.

But using another method usually means death.

As for who died... that's self-evident.

Illumi agreed quickly not because he was careless, but because he had already calculated the bottom line for all three conditions.

Illumi looked at him for a few seconds, then nodded.

"Make a vow."

His voice remained calm.

The next second, the two of them raised their hands simultaneously.

Illumi's right palm was facing upwards, with her five fingers slightly spread.

His spiritual energy flowed from his palms without making a sound, like a thin, colorless flame adhering to the surface of his skin.

Jiang Ye's left palm faced upwards, and the shadow rose from the soles of his feet, climbed up his arm to the edge of his palm, and coalesced into a quiet, spreading black shadow in his palm.

The two auras overlapped for a moment above the table.

There was no collision, no conflict; they merely touched each other, like two different bodies of water gently brushing against each other at their boundary.

As he released his thoughts, Jiang Ye slowly opened his mouth.

"I, Jiang Ye, swear this oath."

"After acquiring the Zoldyck Family's assassination training system, I will not distribute the training content to any third party in any form, nor will I use the training content to attack members of the Zoldyck Family."

"If anyone disobeys, their Nen Ability will be permanently sealed, and all their Shikigami will vanish."

Illumi listened quietly until the end, then spoke.

"I, Illumi Zoldyck Family, swear by this oath."

"Under the premise that Jiang Ye fully fulfills his obligations regarding the opening of the District 13 and prioritizing intelligence, he applies to the head of the Zoldyck family and delivers the complete plan for the Zoldyck Family's basic assassination training system."

"If you disobey, your Nen Ability will be permanently sealed."

The two streams of energy trembled slightly at the point where they overlapped above the table, then each returned to its own palm.

The sound of the wind outside seeped in through the gaps in the metal sheet, ruffling the edge of the photograph on the table.

The middle-aged man with prominent cheekbones in the photo remains standing in the shadows, completely unaware of the kind of deal he has been drawn into.

Jiang Ye withdrew his left hand, and the shadow fell back to his feet, forming a quiet, dark carpet.

He raised his head and tilted it slightly towards the doorway.

The sound wasn't loud, but it penetrated the thin sheet metal door.

"Iron Wall, come in."

Upon hearing the sound, Iron Wall tensed up instantly, ready to act at any moment.

The first thing he did upon entering was glance at Irmie's position, then quickly shifted his gaze back to Jiang Ye, confirming that there were no signs of a fight between the two before letting out a sigh of relief.

Jiang Ye sat behind the table and watched as the tension on Iron Wall's shoulder slowly eased, without saying anything more.

"Don't be nervous."

He raised his chin and tilted it slightly in Illumi's direction.

"This is our distinguished guest."

Iron Wall's Adam's apple bobbed, his gaze quickly sweeping over Irmmi's pale face before he nodded.

Jiang Ye pushed the photos on the table forward.

"The person in the photo."

"They entered District 13 within three days and are now hiding somewhere unknown."

Iron Wall forward, picked up the photo, and memorized the face.

"Let the Shattered Eye nets be cast, and the Gray Beak blockade of the transfer point."

"Don't alert them; just corner them."

"Alive."

Jiang Ye added two words.

Iron Wall nodded without asking any further questions.

As he clutched the photo and turned to leave, his tense nerves finally relaxed a little.

Jiang Ye sat behind the table, listening to the sound of Iron Wall's footsteps gradually fading away on the iron plate corridor and disappearing in the direction of the camp's perimeter.

Illumi remained standing in the same spot.

He didn't sit down, nor did he show any indication that he needed to sit down and wait.

Those completely black eyes withdrew from the door frame and landed on Jiang Ye again, as quiet as a dormant machine.

Jiang Ye didn't look at him, nor did he speak again.

He simply leaned back in his chair, turning his gaze to the hazy light outside the window, waiting for the news to come back layer by layer from the outside.

The waiting process was shorter than expected.

After about the time it takes to eat a meal, the sound of Iron Wall's footsteps returned from the end of the corridor, growing louder as they approached.

When the door was pushed open, Iron Wall's breathing became slightly labored, and his face was filled with excitement.

"Alliance Leader."

He stood at the doorway, his gaze first falling on Jiang Ye, then reflexively glancing at Irmie's position, making sure she wasn't looking at him before speaking.

"Shattered Eye and Gray Beak have surrounded their target."

"At the junction of the west side of Central City and the East District waste disposal area, in a narrow alleyway formed by piles of abandoned shipping containers."

"The Shattered Eye confirmed the face; the scar on the left eyebrow bone matches."

"The person is still inside, hasn't moved."

Jiang Ye stood up from his chair.

"Let's go."

He walked to the door and glanced at Irmie.

"Go take a look."
