Chapter 32
Fu Yuhe raised a hand and gripped the back of Shen Yi's neck. Once alcohol touched his self-control, it vanished like flowers withering in winter.
He still resented Shen Yi for calling him a block of wood earlier and was determined to teach him a lesson, but before he knew it, Shen Yi had taken control of the rhythm. Once Fu Yuhe lost the upper hand, he never had a chance to take it back.
His breath and body grew scorching hot in the passionate kiss, as though he might melt completely. Without realizing it, the hand gripping the back of Shen Yi's neck slipped around him instead. The sensation of their lips and tongues meeting, of being immersed in desire, was utterly intoxicating. Even his thoughts grew jumbled, unable to form a single clear line.
Fu Yuhe was drunk, though not completely. He felt light all over, and his cool, pale skin had turned crimson, with a touch of alluring pink spreading to the corners of his eyes.
When Shen Yi gently brushed his fingertips over the corners of his eyes and his earlobes, Fu Yuhe's whole body couldn't help tensing, the lovely blue veins in his neck standing out. Shen Yi found it very interesting.
Fu Yuhe noticed his wicked intentions, grabbed his hand, and warned him off between heavy breaths. But under the circumstances, it had no effect. He was like a tiger stripped of its sharp claws and teeth, fiercely swiping at someone with nothing but soft paw pads.
Pitiful and endearing, he posed no threat at all. It only made one want to bully him more, adding to the fun.
A beer can fell from the corner of the table and landed on the floor with a crisp clatter.
They were both young men in their prime, and kissing could easily lead to trouble.
Fu Yuhe still had a shred of reason left. He felt they should take things slowly; he didn't want the relationship to progress too quickly. If they spent too much of their enthusiasm at the start, only awkwardness would remain once the passion faded.
Shen Yi, meanwhile, didn't seem particularly interested in anything else. He was devoted solely to kissing and making out, with no pressing desire to go further, at least for the moment.
A flicker of suspicion crossed Fu Yuhe's mind, but he soon had no attention to spare for it. Their kisses stole his breath, and the lack of oxygen left him drowsy.
Fu Yuhe was the first to wake the next day, roused by how uncomfortable he was.
"Mm..." He let out a muffled groan and lifted his head. Shen Yi's clothes were right in front of him.
The two had slept on the sofa in an extremely twisted position, half of Fu Yuhe's body draped over Shen Yi, whose hand still rested on Fu Yuhe's waist.
Fu Yuhe struggled to get up. His back ached, his shirt was wrinkled from sleep, and he smelled all over.
The chaotic memories of last night came flooding back. Sitting beside the sofa, Fu Yuhe paused and turned to look at Shen Yi, who was still fast asleep. Shen Yi lay on his side, and with his eyes closed, the arrogance they usually revealed was neatly tucked away. He looked a little more well-behaved, like a harmless herbivore-a completely different person from the overbearing, domineering one of last night.
Fu Yuhe rolled his aching shoulders and reached out to poke Shen Yi's smooth cheek. When Shen Yi frowned and began to wake, he withdrew his hand.
Shen Yi opened his eyes to find Fu Yuhe looking down at him.
"Morning, ge," Shen Yi said sleepily, drawing out the last syllable.
"Get up," Fu Yuhe said.
Shen Yi blinked.
"Go take a shower in my room." Fu Yuhe paused, then added lightly, as if to cover himself, "Don't let Fu Cheng see you like this."
He lowered his head and looked into Shen Yi's eyes. "What happened between us has to be kept from Fu Cheng until after you two take the college entrance exam. Understand?"
"Ah..." Shen Yi tapped the corner of his lips with a fingertip. "I'm very good at keeping secrets."

Fu Cheng: What? What are you hiding from me? [I heard that, I heard that, I heard it with both ears.jpg]
Chapter 15: Pursuing him
The mess from last night was still in the living room, and after lingering overnight, the smell was strong. Shen Yi took the clothes Fu Yuhe had given him and went to the bathroom.
It was a holiday, so he wasn't in a hurry.
Shen Yi turned on the shower, and his black hair became wet, sticking to his forehead. He raised a hand and swept it back. He remembered the events of last night very clearly.
As for why things had ended up the way they did, it was entirely a combination of some deliberate effort on Shen Yi's part and chance-
They had started out chatting, and as the conversation went on, they mostly talked about Fu Cheng. Shen Yi thought it needed to be a little more interesting, so he said that if Fu Yuhe wanted the answer to a question, he would have to exchange something for it.
An exchange was naturally the best opportunity to ask for what he wanted.
Without a doubt, Shen Yi chose a kiss. Fu Yuhe said he was a bad kisser, but Shen Yi wasn't angry. Still, if he was bad at it, he ought to practice more.
But Fu Yuhe's lips, though so soft to kiss, were always so stubborn when he spoke. He clearly felt a lot when they kissed. Even if he didn't say so, Shen Yi could tell; he could feel the changes in his breathing, heartbeat, and body.
Shen Yi had no plans to reproduce with anyone at the moment. But both he and Fu Yuhe were men, so "reproduction" was out of the question for them. At most, they could only engage in that meaningless act.
Meanwhile, Fu Yuhe stood on the balcony, smoking.
He held the cigarette between his well-defined fingers and slowly exhaled smoke, veiling his handsome face. After a poor night's sleep, there was a touch of disheveled beauty to it.
Alcohol had played a part in what happened last night, but so had his own desire. Shen Yi's handsome, sunny face appeared in his mind, and he couldn't help wondering whether he really had been single for too long, to feel such an urge toward a kid six or seven years younger than him-and a man at that.
Before this, Fu Yuhe had never thought he liked men. He had never found any man good-looking-though the same went for women.
He touched his lower lip with a fingertip, still able to recall how fiercely Shen Yi had kissed him last night, like a young wolf. Fu Yuhe was certain he hadn't been mistaken: gentle and harmless was only Shen Yi's outward appearance.
But he wasn't averse to that now. Instead, another, more surging emotion filled his heart, urgently pushing him to do something. If it was called liking, that was part of it, but not all.
