Chapter 46
"Get in."
Shen Yi straightened up and turned to look at Fu Cheng, who was still catching his breath. "Are you okay?"
Fu Cheng's face was flushed from running. "I'm fine."
Shen Yi said, "Then let's get in. You nearly crushed my hand."
"I did not..." Fu Cheng muttered as he let go of him and reached for the back door. He pulled, but it wouldn't open.
Huh?
He tried again.
Fu Yuhe tilted his chin. "Sit in front."
Fu Cheng said, "...Okay, ge."
He climbed into the front passenger seat. He didn't say anything, but he grumbled inwardly.
Shen Yi opened the back door and got in. Whether deliberately or not, he put his schoolbag next to the door and sat closer to the middle.
"What were you doing at the internet café?" Fu Yuhe asked.
In front, Fu Cheng tensed up and obediently answered, "Watching TV."
Shen Yi said, "Ge, it's normal for people our age to go to internet cafés, right?"
Fu Yuhe glanced at him. Shen Yi broke into a brilliant smile, openly reached over and gave his hand a squeeze, then withdrew his own as if nothing had happened.
In his baseball cap, Shen Yi was as approachable as a genuine boy next door.
His movement was so natural that it took Fu Yuhe two seconds to register it.
Neither the driver nor Fu Cheng noticed.
Fu Yuhe stroked the back of his right hand twice with his left thumb. "It is... perfectly normal."
He watched Shen Yi out of the corner of his eye. When it came to physical contact, Shen Yi was forward and enthusiastic-perhaps a little too enthusiastic. Fu Yuhe had never made him any clear promise, yet Shen Yi didn't seem to care. Like a moth to a flame, he had thrown everything into indulging his desire and had never asked for anything else.
Was he like this only with Fu Yuhe, or... would anyone else do?
What was Shen Yi like when he was with someone else?
What Fu Yuhe had seen most often was how Shen Yi acted around him: slyly mischievous, like a cat stealing fish.
Seeing that his brother wasn't going to pursue the matter, Fu Cheng drew Shen Yi into a rambling chat, turning his head every so often. Even if the two in the back seat had wanted to hold hands or do anything like that, they couldn't.
Fu Yuhe looked out the window and didn't join their conversation.
The car soon arrived at the Fu family villa.
"It's so cold. It'll probably be dark by the time you head home," Fu Cheng said as he changed his shoes by the door.
Shen Yi casually took off his baseball cap. "It's fine. There are streetlights."
Fu Yuhe said, "Fu Cheng told me you live nearby."
"Mm." Shen Yi answered. "Ge, if you have time, you can come over."
His perfectly ordinary words sounded polite to Fu Cheng, but to Fu Yuhe, they were a naked invitation.
Inviting someone with whom one had an ambiguous relationship home could mean far too many things in the adult world, none of them particularly innocent. Fu Yuhe glanced at Fu Cheng, who had gone into the living room none the wiser, and whispered, "Don't say things like that in front of Fu Cheng."
"Why?" Shen Yi set his shoes neatly to one side.
Fu Yuhe stood in front of Shen Yi, his shadow falling over him. "It's not time to let him know yet."
Shen Yi looked up, his smiling eyes curved. "Ge, you don't think I was hinting at something, do you?"
Fu Yuhe said, "..."
As he stood up, Shen Yi caught Fu Yuhe off guard with a kiss on the corner of his mouth. His clear eyes gleamed with mischief. "If I want to do something, I won't beat around the bush."
He said it bluntly: "I'll tell you directly."
Fu Yuhe pressed a hand to his lips, his heart beating several beats faster. He quickly turned his head and glanced toward the living room, the movement betraying his guilty conscience. Seeing no sign of Fu Cheng, he turned back. "You..."
Have you lost your mind?
"So, ge, would you like to come to my place next time? We could do something interesting." Shen Yi blinked. His lowered voice was soft, as though filled with endless tenderness, slipping into Fu Yuhe's chest and winding around his heart, tightening and loosening as it teased his nerves.
Chapter 22: Gift
Would you like to do something... interesting?
Now that was a truly clear yet suggestive hint.
Something interesting-what exactly? It wasn't hard for Fu Yuhe to imagine. Ever since Shen Yi had suddenly leaned in and kissed him, he had been following Shen Yi's lead. Now even his heartbeat was in disarray.
To hide the fact that he was tempted and had been put at a disadvantage, he pulled at the corner of his mouth and asked Shen Yi, "Something interesting? Let you sleep with me?"
Blunt words were often the most effective way to make a boy Shen Yi's age blush, but Shen Yi wasn't all that embarrassed.
"Haven't we slept together plenty of times already?" Shen Yi said. "Starting last month... mmph..."
Fu Yuhe's palm covered his mouth.
Fu Yuhe's jaw worked as he looked at Shen Yi's eyes, the only part of his face still visible. They were clear and lively, yet sly with hidden mischief. He was like a clever little fox, especially good at deceiving people.
Shen Yi's face was very small. That was the conclusion Fu Yuhe reached as his palm covered the lower half of it.
The warm lips beneath his palm were soft, and Shen Yi's breath was hot. Trapped beneath his hand without any way out, it seemed to grow warmer by the moment. The skin of Shen Yi's smooth face was delicate, and from this close, Fu Yuhe could clearly see the fine down on his cheeks.
Shen Yi didn't move, simply letting Fu Yuhe cover his mouth. He stared straight at him, Fu Yuhe's reflection in his dark pupils.
Coming to his senses, Fu Yuhe abruptly withdrew his hand. He had used a lot of force to stop Shen Yi from saying something he shouldn't, leaving several finger marks on his face. They seemed to silently accuse Fu Yuhe of brutality, yet for no reason they also lent him an erotic air, making one want to leave more marks.
