The Reset Legend
Su Ming stretched out his hand, and dark magic unfolded in his palm.
A faint glow slowly shifted, while black flames burned quietly.
Several black fairies that had been hiding deep in the shadows of the trees were immediately attracted and flew over.
But upon getting closer, they realized something was wrong.
This ghostly flame looks a lot like "dark element," but there are obvious differences; even the "sparks" have sharp-angled lines.
It's like it's just wearing a shell; inside is something completely incomprehensible.
The dark elemental fairy circled Su Ming's hand twice before hesitatingly stopping in mid-air.
"What a sensitive little guy," Su Ming remarked.
It's a pity there are no space fairies.
Otherwise, you might even see a few little guys clinging to the spatial rift and taking a few bites.
"Why would our ancestors want to devour us now?" Taiye complained bitterly.
"It's not Eden that wants to devour us," Su Ming corrected. "It's Jörmungandr wants to devour Taya." Taiye looked at him, a hint of confusion in her eyes.
Is there any difference?
"There's a big difference."
Zijin's voice came from the lake; she and Jielusi had just returned from the lakeside.
"Based on the current interpretation and piecing together of the information, Jörmungandr was an outsider who came to Eden 15,000 years ago."
After the Charybdis incident, Chloe seriously reflected on her attitude towards "myths and legends".
As it turns out, these things do indeed contain fragments of history.
So she started her research again.
By comparing the mythological materials of Earth and Taya with the captured texts, doctrines, and ritual texts of the Plundering Clock, they discovered that the materials actually originated from Eden, and in the end, they actually pieced together a set of history.
"Fifteen thousand years ago, the will of the Eden Plane, facing Jörmungandr, chose the Golden Crow Clan to resist."
Zijin recounts Chloe's research findings.
"Nine Child of the Plane of the Golden Crow Clan perished one after another in the long battle." Taiye subconsciously looked up at the giant banyan tree in the distance.
"We have similar legends within our tribe."
"The ancient sunbird battled the black serpent, and the suns fell one by one."
"The last sun did not go out, but was embedded in the snake's body, and from then on, the world turned dark."
Su Ming and Zijin exchanged a glance.
"These legends have no corresponding historical basis in either Taya or Earth, whether they are metaphors or natural disasters."
"On the contrary, it matches the events that were only vaguely mentioned in the information about the Plundering Clock."
"That's why Chloe made that judgment."
Zijin continued, "For example, the tenth Golden Crow Clan's Child of the Plane, according to Eden's records, lost the courage to continue fighting and chose to Jörmungandr."
"So the legend says it's 'embedded,' representing that he became part of the black serpent?" Jielusi asked.
Zijin nodded.
With the demise of the last resistance force, the will of Eden was devoured by Jörmungandr, and the plane faced a devastating catastrophe. Taiye's expression changed slightly upon hearing this.
"What if we lose the war? Wouldn't the outcome be the same?"
"Jörmungandr's goal is to devour the Taya Plane, he won't care about us beings at all!"
"This is the worst-case scenario," Su Ming sighed.
It is currently known that Jörmungandr discovered the existence of Taya approximately 12,000 years ago.
Without hesitation, He sent a large number of creatures through the Rift Tribe's teleportation array.
Like the Super Crystal Dragon, it doesn't cost a penny.
The Earth Support Team also suspects that there are related events on Earth, but this has not yet been confirmed.
They seem to have some speculation and have launched a joint project to decipher the Rift Tribe murals, but no definitive conclusions have been reached yet.

Taiye fell silent upon hearing this.
"It has always been the Plane Will of Taya that has hindered Jörmungandr," Zijin continued. The Plane Will is a special existence.
He has no clear personal will, nor does He issue clear divine pronouncements like a deity.
But He depends on the living beings of this world, and in a way, He maintains the stability of the entire world.
What exactly happened during these interdimensional conflicts over the past millennia remains unknown and incomprehensible to most.
But in recent decades, Jörmungandr clearly made progress, tearing open cracks.
The group Plundering Clock were His infiltration tools sent to Taya.
The Taiye nodded slowly.
"I understand the nature of this war now."
"This is a resistance against invaders from outer space; it is a war for the survival of all living beings."
She spread her four wings, and tiny green dust particles drifted in the sunlight.
"I will lead the Fairy Clan to provide full support."
"If the situation is unfavorable--" "De" "Qi" "Xiao" "Shuo" "Net" "Shou" "Fa" "d" "e" "q" "i" "x" "s"".""o""r""g"
Taiye's voice became serious and earnest.
The little fairies hiding in the leaves, flowers, and branches all fell silent.
"All of us fairies are ready to go to the front lines!"
Su Ming scanned the area; the fairies were still small and timid, looking nothing like warriors.
He sighed, stretched out his finger, and gently touched Taiye's little hand.
I will do everything in my power to prevent this from happening!

Water Chestnut Island, the central city of the Orcs, Cloud Fang Fort.
In the center of the city stands the former royal palace of the orcs.
Its main body is built of black and gray boulders, and the walls are full of a primitive and oppressive sense of power. On both sides of the tall archway, there are totem poles made of fangs of giant beasts and bronze, and the poles are engraved with battle patterns and animal heads.
For over a decade, this symbol of the orcish heart has changed hands, becoming the core stronghold of the Plundering Clock. On this completely controlled independent island, the Plundering Clock needs no concealment.
Their status was that of noble rulers, above tribes, nobles, and royalty.
More and more snake patterns are appearing throughout Water Chestnut Island City, and the originally rough animal skin flags have long been abandoned somewhere unknown.
On the royal palace training grounds, the Death Knell and the Hairspring are engaged in battle.
The Death Knell held a wooden dagger in each hand, while the Hairspring thread was a row of long wooden nails.
With Hairspring her wrist, three long nails shot towards the Death Knell from different angles, sealing her shoulders, waist, and knees.
With Death Knell left hand, she deflected the first long nail, while her right hand, gripping the back of the blade, pressed down on the trajectory of the second nail. The third nail grazed her calf, leaving a shallow mark on the ground.
The figure of Hairspring appeared to her side and behind, a long nail piercing straight into the back of Death Knell's neck.
With a quick twist of his body, Death Knell slashed backward with his right hand, the short sword grazing his shoulder line.
Bang!
The wooden nail and the wooden knife collided.
"You've recovered a lot!" Hairspring said. He used the momentum to retreat, and four more long nails fell rapidly from mid-air.
Bang, bang, bang, bang.
The short sword in the Death Knell's hand intercepted all the long nails.
"I've finished Aisidaier's medicine," she said. "The damned poison in my body is finally gone."
Death Knell flexed his wrists, his brows furrowing slightly. He had missed the opportunity to counterattack when a long nail had been blocked slightly off-target.
"It's just that my body isn't completely normal yet," said Death Knell.
"Use me for recovery training."
"Almost," said the Death Knell, "But please increase the intensity."
With a light touch of Hairspring toes on the ground, You Si's speed suddenly increased.
"Light's Passing!"
Several nearly overlapping afterimages appeared on the training field as long spikes attacked simultaneously from eight directions.
Death Knell's eyes narrowed. For a moment, she suddenly thought of Qingming.
I recall how she casually severed the spell of Dharma King Abidaqi during their sparring session.
Death Knell's wrist instinctively lowered, almost using the same angle of entry that Qingming had taught her.
She immediately realized this and paused for a moment.
A long nail grazed her shoulder, tearing the fabric.
The Hairspring stopped spinning, and he retrieved the remaining long nails, re-inserting them into the side pocket.
"You're not paying attention."
The Death Knell shook its head. "Again!"

In the following training sessions, Death Knell abandoned distractions, his movements became smoother, and his whole body regained its unity.
Like a killing machine that is being recalibrated.
The Hairspring retreated a few steps, deactivated "Light's Passing," and stopped again. "I can't beat you."
"Don't pretend," Death Knell said calmly. "I know you're not serious."
"Even if we get serious, it won't work," Hairspring said.
He shrugged. "You're second in timing, and the strongest in melee."
I'm just the last hand in the Clock Hand.
The Death Knell did not respond to this self-deprecating remark.
"Qingming has a very high opinion of you," she suddenly said. "She believes that among Clock Hand, you are the strongest."
Hairspring glanced around; there were only the two of them in the training ground now.
His expression darkened.
"Don't mention that Traitor. Qingming has made too many irresponsible remarks!"
I'll leave it at that for now.
"If others hear these words, they will think you have been influenced by her, and they might even tell the God of God!" Death Knell paused slightly in her grip on the dagger.
After a moment of silence, she still chose to continue the conversation.
Fifty years ago, Qingming gave me a letter before he left.
She told me to open it again if I had the chance to leave Eden.
Hairspring's expression became even more serious.
That's definitely not a legitimate letter!
The reason for not allowing viewing in Eden was clearly to avoid attracting the attention of the chief god Jörmungandr.
Hairspring stared at Death Knell's expression. "You saw it?"
Death Knell shook his head, then nodded.
"Actually, I forgot about it a long time ago; after all, it happened so long ago."
"I only remembered this when we recently evacuated to Water Chestnut Island."
Hairspring frowned but remained silent. "Qingming said in the letter that fifteen thousand years ago, Jörmungandr Eden," Death Knell continued.
"He devoured Eden's will and took its place, slaughtering billions of lives at will, leaving not a single one of Eden's creatures alive."
"Spreading rumors and misleading the public!"
Hairspring chuckled.
"That stems from the horrors of the old era. It was Jörmungandr's arrival that brought light and saved us from those sufferings!"
He looked at the Death Knell, his tone becoming more serious.
"Over these ten thousand years, the supreme god has worked diligently to restore Eden's vitality, allowing all living beings to multiply."
"Surely we can't distort the truth like this?"
The sound of Death Knell was flat.
"Qingming said in the letter that this was because Jörmungandr invaded Taya and Earth."
"That's why He allowed the creatures of Eden to multiply again."
"The goal is nothing more than to cultivate us as infiltration tools and to train a massive army." "To help him slaughter the beings of the new dimension."
