Arc 33The Black Tide and the Titan

Richard strengthened his body and Miracle Dimension, helped the Wizards defeat the Star River Mayflies, and discovered that the Civilization Devourer had overtaken their world with a spreading black slime. As Richard joined forces with the Mayflies against the threat, he fought and killed the Titan Grandmaster, who questioned Richard’s unknown bloodline as he died.

  • Richard contained the Asphalt Titan’s remains, honored Seven Kill Daoist, and met Qi, the first Star-Herding Titan, who warned him about the Civilization Devourer.

Richard gathered the Abyss, Gods, and Wizard Civilizations into an alliance against the returning Civilization Devourer while strengthening his forces and developing new weapons. The alliance’s first conference ended with an agreement to share some technology as the Devourer advanced.

  • Richard restored Taral Peak’s body, and Taral Peak pledged himself to Richard and began rebuilding the Titan Legion.
  • Richard negotiated the Star River Mayflies’ restricted vassal status and brought the Abyss into an alliance with the Wizards, defeating Beelzebub and binding Samael to a Fate Contract.
  • Richard survived Samael’s High-Pressure Evolution, then used the Abyss Will to punish Beelzebub and make him his contracted slave for 7,777 years.

Arc 35Richard’s Alliance and Ambush

Richard allied the Spirit Desert Civilization with the Wizard Alliance, gained new rule and dimensional-weaving techniques, and was ambushed by forces of the Civilization Devourer. Though his body was destroyed, he survived and coerced Taral into helping him find a way to restore his soul.

  • The Wizard, Gods, and Abyss civilizations formed a United Military Department, abandoned 273 worlds as a buffer zone, and fortified five Hub Worlds as the Civilization Devourer approached.
  • Gawain and Asu received new orders as Dona warned Gawain of the grim war ahead, while the Gods of Horod evacuated their people and the Alliance’s forces fought the Furnace People and Star-Herding Titans.

Richard exposed the Civilization Devourer’s corruption within the Natural Federation, helped defeat the traitorous Dominators, and brought the Federation into the Wizard Alliance. He then created Tyler Peak Anderson, received a Ghost Artisan hammer, and passed the Titan Trial by defeating his Dimensional Avatar.

  • Richard restored his soul, warned the council about the Civilization Devourer, and entered the Nightmare World to hunt.
  • Richard revealed his Titan identity to the Great World Tree and urged the Natural Federation to stop its war with the Curse Demon Empire and unite against the Civilization Devourer.
  • Richard found widespread corruption among the Mechanical Race and traced a plot involving contaminated worlds, the Xi Ling Merchant Guild, and devices forming an artificial domain around Netherworld’s church.
