Yang Tian helped Tang San and Tang Hao revive Ah Yin, then Shrek and the other teams survived a deadly Evil Soul Master ambush on the road to Spirit City. After the convoy arrived, Bibi Dong summoned Yang Tian and confronted him in Pope's Hall.

• Yang Tian brought Tang San, Tai Long, and Jiang Zhu to Sunset Forest, where Tai Long and Jiang Zhu obtained their fourth soul rings.
• Yang Tian healed Tang Hao, then used his flames and blood to revive Ah Yin while Tang San gave up his left-leg soul bone and received a replacement from Ah Yin.
• Shrek fought the Fairy Sword Battle Team, and Ying'er and Tang San drew after Ying'er halted her soul-snatching attack just short of his brow.
• The Elite Competition concluded, and Yang Tian joined the convoy to Spirit City while preparing to stop the Evil Soul Masters targeting the teams.
• Evil Soul Masters ambushed the convoy, and Yang Tian, Swordsman, Tang Hao, Tang Xiao, Dugu Bo, and the academies' fighters defeated their forces and killed their leaders.
• The convoy continued to Spirit City, where Tang San agreed to go to Slaughter City while Ah Yin urged him to let go of his revenge against Spirit Hall.
• Bibi Dong summoned Swordsman to Pope's Hall, where Yang Tian appeared in disguise and traded barbs with her before she struck him into a pillar.

Yang Tian helped forge an alliance against the overseas Evil Soul Masters, then used Energy Stones and the World Tree to advance himself and his companions. After surviving a Cosmic Tribulation, Yang Tian sent Swordsman overseas, where he found a region inhabited by undead soul beasts.

• Yang Tian and the Swordsman rallied Spirit Hall, the empires, and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect into an alliance against the Evil Soul Masters, with Bibi Dong naming Swordsman Holy Son and arranging his engagement to Hu Liena.
• Yang Tian recruited Ning Fengzhi to manage Holy Soul Hall and obtained Energy Stones from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, while Ning Fengzhi agreed to organize their mining.
• Yang Tian reached Soul Power Level 70, raised Ning Fengzhi’s soul rings to hundred-thousand-year levels, and traveled to the Far North as Bibi Dong ordered Spirit Hall to mine more Energy Stone veins.
• Yang Tian brought his companions to the World Tree, where its Rule Power helped them form Rule Rings and revealed the Dao of the Physical Body to him.
• A Cosmic Tribulation struck Yang Tian as he formed his seventh ring, and he endured the lightning while shaping a cauldron from Profound Yellow Mother Qi and reaching Level 73.
• Yang Tian sent Swordsman overseas with the Dragon Pattern Black Gold Sword, and Swordsman encountered undead sea creatures before detecting living creatures beyond an energy membrane.

Yang Tian secured the Death God’s inheritance trial for Ying'er, brought major sects and clans into the Holy Soul Hall, and prepared for his next journey. The arc ended with Shui Bing'er asking him about the Sea God’s inheritance.

• Swordsman reached Death Spirit Island, learned about its factions and trials, and was assigned to find and protect Ying'er as the Death God’s inheritor.
• Yang Tian reunited with the Snow Empress, visited the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, and revealed his identity as Swordsman to Ning Fengzhi.
• Yang Tian challenged the Clear Sky Sect’s elders, convinced Tang Xiao to end the sect’s seclusion, and promised to recover Tang Chen’s missing sect-master token.
• Yang Tian defeated Yu Yuanzhen, exposed Yu Luomian’s betrayal, and secured the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s agreement to join the Holy Soul Hall if he repaired its Dragon Vein.
• Yang Tian expanded the Holy Soul Hall by bringing in four clans and members of several Element Academies, then set training standards and selected young soul masters for further cultivation.
• Yang Tian rejected Xue Ye’s request to marry Xue Ke but accepted the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, and he entrusted Ning Fengzhi with overseeing the Holy Soul Hall during his travels.
• Yang Tian returned to the Land of the Extreme North and offered the Sea God’s inheritance to the women, but most declined before Shui Bing'er asked him about it.

Yang Tian strengthened his companions and sent them toward Sea God Island while Swordsman secured support for the Locke Empire and confronted the Holy Cult in the Evil Demon Forest. The stretch left Swordsman preparing to infiltrate the Holy Cult with the Evil Eye Tyrant Overlord’s help, while Yang Tian’s group continued its voyage and personal entanglements.

• Yang Tian left the Land of the Extreme North, sought Energy Stones from Bibi Dong, and later provided Shui Yue'er with a spirit bone, a pill, and a God-given Soul Ring.
• Yang Tian reached Water Blue City, activated its protective formation, and gave Biddle a Jade Sword to call him back if the barrier failed.
• Swordsman arrived in Locke Imperial City, revealed his seven golden soul rings to the Seventh Princess and Locke the Great, and demonstrated his strength by defeating Black Bear Douluo.
• Yang Tian assembled a training group, led them toward Vast Sea City, and oversaw their attack on the Wolf Bandits after they discovered the bandits had killed and eaten women.
• At Vast Sea City, the group drove off Baksa’s gang and watched Yang Ke defeat a Sea Shark Soul King before Shui Yue'er confessed her feelings to Yang Tian.
• Swordsman established a weapons research base for Locke the Great, negotiated for resources, and traveled with the Seventh Princess to the Evil Demon Forest.
• Swordsman destroyed the Seventh Holy Son’s Divine Artifact chain, trapped the Holy Cult group with the Evil Eye Tyrant Overlord, and watched the Overlord kill them.
• Swordsman persuaded the Evil Eye Tyrant Overlord to help attack the Holy Cult, while Shui Yue'er continued pursuing Yang Tian aboard the group’s voyage toward Sea God Island.
