I'm shocked at how accurately this gets the school system in England in the early 90s!
Pretty standard story with a gourd that can accelerate cultivation resources but I'm enjoying it. It's fun to read someone who has to work his way up a bit and scheme against more powerful cultivators rather than immediately becoming invincible
