Your profile is public by default, but each section below can be hidden individually in your privacy settings. To see exactly what a visitor sees, use the preview eye icon on your own profile.
What your profile shows#
Every reader has a public profile at a URL like /user/12345/your-name. It shows your reading stats, community contributions, and awards, unless you turn a section off in your privacy settings.
The top of your profile shows your avatar, display name, level badge, your chosen display title (if any), your total XP, when you joined, and a progress bar toward your next level. See Levels and Achievements for how levels work.
Below that, a Stats card shows your current and best reading streak, active days (or your saved chapter progress if reading activity is hidden), novels read, ratings given, reviews written, comments posted, and novels uploaded.
A Reading activity heatmap shows how many chapters you opened on each day of the year, with year arrows to browse past years.
An Awards section lists your unlocked achievements grouped by rarity, with an unlock count (for example "12 / 30 unlocked") and a toggle to show or hide the full list.
Eight tabs sit above these sections: Overview, Reviews, Comments, Edits, Uploads, Reading, Engagement, and Reports. Any tab whose section you've hidden in your privacy settings doesn't appear for other visitors, and your Reports tab never appears to anyone but you, no matter your settings.
Finding a profile#
Every username, comment, and review links to the author's profile. To see your own profile, open /profile; it redirects you to your profile page.
Tip Use the eye icon next to Edit profile on your own profile to preview it exactly as a visitor would see it, including any sections you've hidden.
Editing your username and profile image#
- Open your profile and select Edit profile.
- Update your Public Username (2–50 characters; letters, numbers,
_and-only) in the Edit Public Profile dialog. - Select your current avatar image to replace your Profile Image (max size 512KB).
- Select Save changes.
Your username and profile image are visible to everyone, including on comments, reviews, and the leaderboard.
Choosing a display title#
Titles come from awards marked as title-eligible. In the Awards section of your profile, use the Display title dropdown to choose one, or select No title to show none, then select Save.
Titles are cosmetic. They don't add privileges. See Levels and Achievements for how awards are earned.
Privacy settings#
Your profile has three privacy switches, found in the Public profile section of your account settings. All three are on (public) by default.

Turning off Reading activity or Community activity also hides your total XP and level-progress numbers from visitors. Your level badge itself still shows, but the XP figures behind it don't.
Note Locked achievement progress (for example "12 / 25 accepted edits" on an award you haven't unlocked yet) is always private. Only you can see how close you are to an achievement you don't have yet.
What's never public#
Regardless of your privacy settings, the following are never shown to other visitors: your email address, your Patreon account details, your exact saved reading position within a chapter, your individual likes and ratings on other people's content, and any reports or moderation feedback tied to your account. You can see your own email and Patreon ID on your own profile behind a reveal toggle. Nobody else can.
