Your Patreon pledge is the only thing that sets your tier; there's no separate upgrade flow on RandomTranslator itself. If a tier looks wrong after subscribing, see Troubleshooting instead of this page.
Signing in#
RandomTranslator only supports signing in with Patreon. Select Continue with Patreon wherever a sign-in prompt appears and authorize the connection. You don't need an active pledge to sign in. A free Patreon account works too.
Linking your Patreon account creates your RandomTranslator profile the first time you sign in, and keeps your tier in sync with your Patreon pledge on every visit afterward.
Staying signed in#
Your session lasts 30 days of inactivity. Every visit resets that window, so you stay signed in as long as you keep coming back. There's no separate "remember me" option; this applies automatically. Select Logout from the menu to sign out manually.
Tiers at a glance#
Your tier controls your daily limits for translation requests, previews, source searches, wiki requests, and retranslations. See your current tier and usage at your limits, and Pricing and Limits for what each tier includes.
Tiers shown on your limits page: Free, Patron ($5), Patron ($12), Patron ($25), plus a Superuser badge reserved for site staff.
When your pledge ends#
Your tier updates automatically from your Patreon pledge status. There's no separate cancellation step on RandomTranslator itself. If your pledge lapses, your account reverts to Free limits on the next sync, and you won't get an in-app notice when this happens. If Patreon revokes your access token, you'll be signed out and need to sign in again.
Your uploads#
Novels you've added to the site appear under the Uploads tab on your profile. Your only other uploadable content is your profile image (see Profiles and Privacy). GIFs in comments and reviews are searched, not uploaded.
Deleting your account or data#
There's no self-serve way to delete your account yet. Email [email protected] or reach out on Discord to request deletion. Deleting your account removes your library, reading history, ratings, reviews, replies, comments, and level; novels you've added and glossary edits or reports you've had accepted stay on the site, no longer linked to your account. See Privacy for the full policy.
