As the elders of the Hyuga Main Family offered up their eyes one after another, the Tenseigan seemed ever closer to transforming, yet that transformation still seemed impossibly far away.
After the last Main Family Elder surrendered his eyes, a deathly silence fell over the secret chamber.
"Clan head, did we succeed...?"

Hyuga Hiashi sighed wistfully, though he had anticipated this outcome.
After all, the Hyuga Clan had nurtured this Tenseigan for hundreds of years. If success were possible, perhaps they would have achieved it long ago. In the end, he had simply harbored a selfish hope of his own and wanted to stake the entire clan on one gamble.
