"Sasuke!"
At Sasuke's home in the Uchiha Clan compound.
Uchiha Mikoto had been eating breakfast with Sasuke. When they felt the temperature around them steadily rising and saw the dazzling light outside, they both stepped out of the house.
As they looked up at the sun hovering overhead and the figure at its center, Uchiha Mikoto suddenly spoke.
"What is it, Mother?"
Sasuke was still reeling from the fact that Uchiha Chisen had actually turned into a sun. It took him two or three seconds to come back to his senses after hearing his mother's voice.
"Promise me you'll study justice properly, and never, ever entertain any extreme ideas, all right?"
Rather than spend much time looking at the sun in the sky, Mikoto turned toward Sasuke and earnestly stressed every word.
"I understand-"
By then, Sasuke had realized that his mother was clearly worried he would stray down the same path as his father and brother, only to be executed in the name of justice!
There was no helping it. Anyone who saw a sun hovering overhead, felt the terrifying heat contained within it, and faced its unrestrained radiance would have panicked a little.
"But Mother, what kind of power is this?
"Is it Teacher Chisen's new kekkei genkai, or our Uchiha Clan's Fire Style?"
After giving Mikoto his promise, Sasuke voiced his questions.
He could hardly be blamed for wondering. Quite a few people throughout Konoha were probably asking themselves the same thing.
