A Beautiful Misunderstanding

As they spoke, the group arrived at the Hyuga residence.

Though only a day had passed, Hinata felt as if she had gone through days and nights of nonstop battle. She was utterly exhausted, without a shred of strength left.

The moment she saw the gate, her momentum weakened considerably. When she saw her little courtyard again, the world before her eyes was already spinning. By the time Hinata pushed open the door and saw her lovely, warm little bed, her body could no longer muster even the slightest bit of strength.

She crashed headfirst onto the bed.

Hinata only wanted to sleep until the end of time, with nothing at all disturbing her.

Several small cities around the battlefield looked as though they had been swept by a Category 15 typhoon and struck by an intensity 8 or 9 earthquake. Countless buildings had collapsed into rubble, while bottomless chasms split the streets and ground everywhere. As far as the eye could see, there were horrifying corpses.

Some were buried beneath the rubble, while others had been smashed to pieces by the fall. Cities that had once resembled paradise now looked like hell
