The Sage of Six Paths' True Purpose

"It's you!"

Nine-Tails instantly rose to his feet inside the iron cage, his fur standing on end as he bared his fangs at the Sage of Six Paths outside the cage. A trace of complicated emotion showed in his crimson eyes.

In a sense, the Sage of Six Paths could be considered Nine-Tails' father. Without the Sage of Six Paths, the Nine Tailed Beasts would never have been born, and Nine-Tails would never have gained an independent personality and sense of self.

"Shut up!" Nine-Tails glared furiously at Naruto.

The Sage of Six Paths sighed faintly, unable to think of what to say for a moment.

The Sage of Six Paths had come to see Naruto!

He had also come to see Nine-Tails!

Perhaps this would be his final meeting with Nine-Tails.
