Yahiko returned to Akatsuki’s headquarters and found Aizen waiting after Blackbeard had killed the members there; Aizen crushed Yahiko with Spiritual Pressure and demanded that Akatsuki serve him. Meanwhile, Nagato underwent his Six Paths advancement with Madara Uchiha’s guidance and survived the transformation, leaving Madara to see that he had succeeded.
