Piloting the Mark II, Rhodey spent the entire night out, finally returning to the Air Force Base at dawn.

On the other side.

Tony didn't drive his Mark Armor off to get pizza; instead, Tony stayed in the Villa, sitting in a deck chair with his legs crossed, gazing at the calm sea outside.

At that moment, Nick Fury walked in, came to Tony's side, and said:

"The sea outside is not as calm as it seems; on the contrary, there are undercurrents that could unleash a raging storm at any moment."

Tony glanced up at the one- One-Eyed Dragon and thought to himself: Charlotte was right, she really was coming to our door today.

"I have absolutely no interest in your Super Boy Band. What brings you here this time?"

Nick Fury sat on a recliner nearby and said with a smile, "I remember you did everything yourself, and look how it went."

"How about what?"

Natasha then changed back into her secret agent outfit and walked in.

"All communication signals here have been blocked, so no one will disturb us for the time being."

Looking at Natasha as she entered, Tony said disdainfully, "Nick Fury, is this how you treat your advisors, sending agents to infiltrate your organization?"

"With your behavior, you think you can build a superhero team? You're just delusional."

Nick Fury wasn't surprised at all by Tony's outburst. Natasha had already informed him last night that Charlotte had revealed her identity.

Nick Fury pointed to Natasha beside him and introduced, "Tony, this is Agent Romanoff."

Natasha began, "I'm an undercover agent for S.H.I.E.L.D.. When S.H.I.E.L.D.. learned you were ill, Director Fury sent me to monitor you."

Tony stretched out his hands. "I'm Iron Man, how could I be sick?"

"You had better apologize and compensate for this behavior!"

Nick Fury then spoke up, "Your behavior is very abnormal. You appointed Pepper Potts as CEO, gave away your assets everywhere, let your friend fly away in Iron Man Armor, and even stopped Charlotte from stopping Rhodey back then."

"If I didn't know the situation, I would have thought you'd been replaced by aliens."

Tony explained, "I didn't give it to him; he took it from me."

"Tony, do you think everyone's a fool?"

"Without your authorization, he could activate the Iron Man Armor; without your intervention, would Charlotte have allowed him to leave alive?"

Tony rubbed his forehead, thinking to himself: How can I let him take the initiative in the conversation? This intelligence chief is indeed not simple.

"Is this why you came to see me? Or did you come here to lecture me?"

Nick Fury stepped forward and tugged at Tony's shirt at the chest, noticing that the palladium poisoning symptoms that should have appeared on Tony's neck were gone. He then looked at Natasha.

Natasha saw Nick Fury's gaze, first nodded, then shook her head.

Nick Fury, realizing what was happening, then changed his tone and said, "It seems your good friend Charlotte, and some other unknown power, has actually alleviated your palladium poisoning."

"But as an advisor to S.H.I.E.L.D.., we can't just ignore you. We have something here that you've never tried before."

Tony understood what Nick Fury meant, but he pretended not to understand and said, "I've tried every element and made all the possible combinations, and nothing has come up that can replace Palladium."

"That thing on your chest was made using unfinished technology."

"No, it was a finished product. I shrunk it down before it became effective."

"No, your father said the Arc Reactor Device was just a springboard to a greater technology. He was preparing to launch an energy competition that would leave all competitors far behind."

"His dream is bigger; the nuclear reactor, by comparison, will be the size of a AAA battery."

"Is it just him? Anton Vanko was also involved, wasn't he?"

"Anton Vanko was like the other side of the coin; he thought it was a way to make a fortune. When your father found out, he expelled him from the country. When the Soviet Union government discovered that he couldn't deliver the goods, they sent him to Siberia, where he has lived a life of debauchery for the past 20 years."

"It's not good for a child's development; the person you met in Monaco was his son."

Then Nick Fury clapped his hands, and two agents walked in carrying a huge box, placing it in front of them.

"This is something your father left you. He said that with your intelligence and talent, you would definitely be able to create what he envisioned in the future."

Seeing the items finally being handed over, Tony breathed a sigh of relief. They had finally given them to him. These guys had been holding onto his father's things for so many years; they were bastards.

He actually expects to be grateful and act like his savior? He's dreaming! Luckily, Charlotte helped him beforehand and told him everything, otherwise he would have been utterly ripped off by this One-Eyed Dragon.

Tony looked at the things in front of him and said, "Why are my father's things still with you? Shouldn't they have been given to me when my father left?"

"What else in your country should rightfully belong to me?"

Hearing that Tony didn't react as he expected, Nick Fury said, "Your father was one of the founders of S.H.I.E.L.D.., so it's normal for him to have some things with us."

Nick Fury then glanced at his watch. "I have a meeting later, so I'll be leaving now."

"Natasha will stay in Stark as an undercover agent, the Agent Coulson will remain, and I'll be keeping an eye on you."

After speaking, Nick Fury stood up from his chair, put on his coat, glanced at Tony, and then turned and left.

"Hey, you still haven't told me whether my father has anything else with you."

"That's my property, you can't seize it."

As Tony spoke, Nick Fury didn't turn his head, but quickened his pace.

At this moment, Natasha spoke up, "We have cut off all communications and cannot contact the outside world. Best of luck."

Watching Nick Fury leave and the box on the ground, Tony's lips curled into a slight smile, "Agent Coulson, help me carry this box into my underground Laboratory. I need to examine what's inside."

After speaking, Tony turned and walked towards the underground Laboratory, leaving Coulson speechless. He was there to monitor Tony and prevent him from leaving the Villa, not to do odd jobs. But seeing Tony had already left, he could only helplessly call two agents to move the things downstairs to the Laboratory.
