Just as Nick Fury was contemplating the dangers and potential benefits of ninjas.
On the other side.
When Barton learned that S.H.I.E.L.D.. had recruited a ninja and was going to conduct a combat test, he immediately grabbed his equipment and rushed over. He was prepared to participate in the test and also wanted to know where his current strength would be considered among ninjas.
Yakushi Kabuto had completed the necessary onboarding procedures with the S.H.I.E.L.D.. agents when the agent spoke up:
"We need to test your combat capabilities now. What do you need to prepare?"
Yakushi Kabuto looked at the other person and asked, "Can you use Ninja Tools?"
"You'll be sparring with someone soon; you can use Ninja Tools."
Yakushi Kabuto opened a leather case, inside which were the Kunai, Shuriken, and Headband that Coulson had given him earlier, all made of Adamantium.
Looking at the contents of the box, Yakushi Kabuto took out the Kunai and Shuriken and put them into his Ninja Tool Pouch. As for the Headband with the S.H.I.E.L.D.. logo, Yakushi Kabuto did not wear it and left it in the box.
The agent glanced at the three leather suitcases that Yakushi Kabuto always carried with him and said, "A dormitory has been prepared for you here. You can put your things in the dormitory first."
Yakushi Kabuto gave a humble smile, "Then could you please take me to my dorm? I need to store my things there first."
"Okay, come with me."
"Your dormitory is in the Rest Area. It's a single room, not very big, but it has a bathroom and kitchen."
Yakushi Kabuto nodded and said, "Sounds pretty good."
"That's not true. Normally, people don't have their own rooms at headquarters."
"It seems the Director values your joining the team highly, after all, you're the first ninja to join S.H.I.E.L.D.."
Yakushi Kabuto, however, wasn't surprised at all. Instead, he said, "After all, those are ninjas from ninja villages. Unlike me, they don't have the right to join other organizations at will."
As the two were talking, they soon took the elevator to the door of a house in the Rest Area.
The agent took out a Magnetic Key Card, opened the Room Door, and then handed the Magnetic Key Card to Yakushi Kabuto.
"This is your room key, and it's also your access card to the Triskelion. It contains your information; you need to swipe your card to enter the building."
"Once the combat capability test is complete, I will give you a copy of S.H.I.E.L.D..'s rules and regulations; you need to memorize them."
"And there's the Triskelion. Many areas are restricted; you can't enter without authorization, so you can't wander around in many places, or an alarm will go off."
Hearing the other person's reminder, Yakushi Kabuto nodded and then entered the room.
Upon entering the room, Yakushi Kabuto glanced around; it was a one-bedroom apartment of about fifty square meters, nicely decorated.
After placing the three suitcases on the coffee table in the living room, Yakushi Kabuto came out of the room.
Yakushi Kabuto the Room Door and then said to the agent standing to the side, "Let's go, we'll conduct the strength assessment."
Seeing that Yakushi Kabuto was ready, the agent led him towards the testing location.
Yakushi Kabuto's sparring partner was Hawkeye, who had been injected with Physical Enhancement Serum. Their sparring location was not inside the Triskelion, but in a factory next to the building.
The factory building was the size of three basketball courts, with wooden flooring. The entire area was very spacious. Hawkeye had already arrived at the scene fully armed.
He held a bow made of Adamantium, equipped with high-tech devices that could control the replacement of arrows in the quiver.
The quiver contains three types of arrowheads: Explosive Arrowhead filled with explosives, Special Arrowhead made of Vibranium, and the most numerous type, arrowheads made of Secondary Adamantium.
All three types of arrows are incredibly lethal, but of course, they are also extremely expensive. Therefore, Hawkeye retrieves his arrows after each battle.
In addition to the quiver on his back, Barton also carried a 60-centimeter-long Tanto on his lower back as his melee weapon.
Barton surveyed the training area, quickly chose a suitable shooting position, and then waited.
In a conference room at the Triskelion of S.H.I.E.L.D.., Nick Fury was surrounded by several high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D.. officials and members of the Science Team, with a huge screen in front of them.
Maria Hill, Hit, Nick Fury stared at the electronic display screen in front of them. After an agent stepped forward and operated it, the footage of the sparring match was transmitted to the screen.
Nick Fury looked at the members of the Science Team and said, "Later, based on the electronic equipment and video recordings, you will calculate the opponent's speed, strength, explosiveness, and other data."
"The Chakra Monitoring Center will also cooperate with you to monitor the intensity of his Chakra bursts."
Upon hearing Nick Fury's order, a member of the Science Team typed rapidly on the computer, replying, "Yes, sir."
Maria Hill then looked at Nick Fury and asked, "Do you think Barton can test the opponent's strength?"
"Although Barton has received Physical Enhancement Serum injection and his physical abilities have improved significantly, based on the known data, he is still far from being a ninja."
"What's the point of this kind of test? Aren't you worried about a one-sided crushing defeat, or the direct loss of Barton's combat power due to a single mistake by the opponent?"
Faced with Hill's pointed question, Nick Fury shook his head. "He's just a Rogue Ninja, not even from a small ninja village."
"According to our intelligence, the strength of Genin that of ninja from smaller villages, which is greater than that of Rogue Ninja. Moreover, after this upgrade, combined with his Bow and Arrow, Barton's strength has undergone a dramatic transformation."
"If even a Rogue Ninja can't handle Barton like this, I'm worried about his future."
Upon hearing Nick Fury's words, Hill didn't say anything more and simply waited for the next game.
Agent Sitwell then spoke up, saying, "We all know that both sides are very powerful."
"However, I'm more concerned about another issue."
"According to our S.H.I.E.L.D.. tradition, every agent recruited from outside needs a supervisor to guide them, introduce them to the knowledge and combat capabilities required of an agent, and provide psychological support."
"After all, only with such a person can the other party better recognize S.H.I.E.L.D.. and its Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.."
"Who will be assigned to supervise this Yakushi Kabuto?"
