Ninja Tools and Ninjutsu

Upon hearing the Director's words, Coulson shook his head. "Director, I haven't heard Yakushi Kabuto mention the Military Ration Pill before."

Nick Fury nodded. "Looks like this guy's been hiding a lot from us."

Coulson, however, didn't seem to care and said, "After all, they've only been with S.H.I.E.L.D.. for a day, so they're bound to be hiding something from us."

"We'll see how much we can extract from him in the days to come."

The two exchanged a brief conversation, and then their attention returned to the conversation between Yakushi Kabuto and Kakashi Hatake.

Inside the Charlotte Agency Reception Room.

Seeing that Kakashi had agreed, Yakushi Kabuto also spoke up, saying, "I was in an abandoned temple on the outskirts of Haruhi City in the Land of Fire. For some reason, I triggered Formation and was teleported here."

"That temple is easy to find; it's about 30 li west of the city."

Upon hearing Yakushi Kabuto mention the location, Kakashi nodded in a mock-serious manner, saying, "I already know the location. We'll send someone to verify it later."

"You should know the consequences of deceiving Konoha. Even if you come to Earth and join S.H.I.E.L.D.. here, you still can't escape Konoha's revenge."

Yakushi Kabuto's expression changed, then he said, "I have no reason to deceive you, after all, I can no longer return to the Ninja World."

"I was teleported to a place in the air, where there was no trace of any Formation."

"However, based on our communication just now, Konoha seems to have the ability to communicate between the two sides or even return. I wonder if, after paying a certain price, I could use the methods you possess to return to the Ninja World from here."

Upon hearing Yakushi Kabuto's words, Nick Fury and Coulson in S.H.I.E.L.D.. both changed their expressions, and their breathing became lighter.

Upon hearing Kakashi Hatake's refusal, Nick Fury and Phil Coulson, both far away at S.H.I.E.L.D.., breathed a sigh of relief.

They haven't gotten what they want yet, and they don't want to lose Yakushi Kabuto just like that.

Yakushi Kabuto helplessly extended his hand and said, "It's truly a great pity; it seems I won't be able to return to the Ninja World."

Kakashi Hatake looked at the other person and said in a cold voice, "For you, returning to the Ninja World like this might not be a good thing."

Upon hearing Kakashi's reminder, Yakushi Kabuto's expression changed, but he then smiled gently again and said, "You're right."

"Since there's no possibility of returning to the Ninja World, let's discuss the matter of Genin tools and Military Ration Pill."

Yakushi Kabuto asked, "I didn't bring much money with me when I came here."

"So what will be used for settlement?"

"Or can we use the local currency to make purchases?"

Kakashi glanced at the Suitcase Yakushi Kabuto had placed on the table, then said, "Since you didn't bring Ninja World currency, you can choose to pay with Energy Block here."

"As for the currency here, it's not within our consideration."

Upon hearing Kakashi's words, Yakushi Kabuto opened the Suitcase he had brought and then asked, "What's the purchase ratio?"

"One Energy Block can buy 10 Smoke Bomb, 5 Explosive Tags, or one Military Ration Pill."

Upon hearing Kakashi's price, Yakushi Kabuto didn't object. Instead, he immediately placed an order, "Prepare 10 Smoke Bomb, 50 Explosive Tags, and 8 servings of Military Ration Pill."

Kakashi said, "19 Energy Block."

Upon hearing the price, Yakushi Kabuto suddenly felt that the salary and benefits S.H.I.E.L.D.. offered him were actually quite good. He then took out 19 Energy Block from his Suitcase and placed them on the table.

Kakashi nodded as he looked at the Energy Block on the table, and was about to get up to fetch Ninja Tools when Yakushi Kabuto stopped him:

"Let's not rush into discussing Ninja Tools. I have some information I'd like to consult with you about."

Kakashi glanced at Yakushi Kabuto's Anbu gesture, nodded silently, and then asked, "What information?"

"We accept all kinds of intelligence missions here, as long as you can afford the price. Of course, we don't accept just any intelligence."

Yakushi Kabuto pointed to the Energy Block on the table and then asked, "What use are Energy Block to us ninjas, and how should I use them?"

Kakashi was speechless when he heard Yakushi Kabuto's question. Only Lord Charlotte could use such a thing; they ninjas couldn't. Even Sannin, one of the Lord Orochimaru, had applied for the Energy Block to research it, but apart from detonating it as a bomb, he hadn't figured out any other way to use it.

"You can use it like currency in the Ninja World to buy Ninja Tools here."

Yakushi Kabuto looked at Kakashi, thought for a moment, and then said, "It seems you're not going to tell me the real purpose of this thing."

Kakashi shrugged, saying nonchalantly, "This is the Energy Block, for your function."

"Of course, if you discover other ways to use it, you can sell it to us, and we're willing to buy it."

Yakushi Kabuto looked at Kakashi Hatake and asked, "Besides Ninja Tools, what else can we get from you using Energy Block?"

"We can accept mission requests, just like in the Ninja World. Charlotte Agency takes on all kinds of missions."

Yakushi Kabuto continued communicating using Anbu sign language, then said aloud, "I feel that the Energy Block is not simple; it must be something of great value. I wonder if it could be used to purchase some Ninjutsu?"

"You know that for Rogue Ninja, Ninjutsu is the true foundation."

Kakashi Hatake glanced at Yakushi Kabuto, thought for a moment, and then said, "Okay, but you don't have enough Energy Block."

"Furthermore, the Ninjutsu you purchase can only be used by yourself and cannot be sold privately. If this is discovered, Konoha will dispatch the Anbu to arrest you, and then you and those you taught will not escape the fate of death."

Yakushi Kabuto ignored Kakashi's threat and instead showed excitement before asking, "What's the level of that Ninjutsu?"

Kakashi Hatake said expressionlessly, "D-rank Ninjutsu!"

Upon hearing that it was a D-rank Ninjutsu, Yakushi Kabuto was not disappointed. Instead, he exclaimed excitedly, "D-rank is good, D-rank is good!"

"This kind of Ninjutsu suits me better, and it's easier for me to master."

Looking at Yakushi Kabuto's excited face, Kakashi thought to himself, "This guy is quite good at putting on an act."
