Tony's Refusal

Upon hearing the Director's instructions, Coulson nodded. "Personnel will keep watch visually, which will also prevent the other party from altering the surveillance information online."

"How badly were you injured in the attack?"

"Are Dongxi and Barton alright?"

Coulson shook his head. "The Physical Enhancement Serum was safely protected by Barton. I've already handed it over to the Academy of Sciences and have them begin researching it."

"As for Barton, he suffered quite a few injuries while protecting me and the supplies. He has now returned for treatment, but given his physical condition, he should recover quickly."

"It's the other Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D...."

At this point, Coulson's voice lowered considerably. Although he had witnessed too much life and death, it still deeply saddened him.

"Besides the two of us who survived, everyone else perished."

Nick Fury patted Coulson on the shoulder, then said in a serious voice, "They will pay the price. No one can provoke S.H.I.E.L.D.. and get away with it."

Coulson nodded, still having great confidence in S.H.I.E.L.D..'s capabilities. After composing himself, he asked, "Director, did you get any intelligence from your meeting with Tony Stark today?"

Upon hearing Coulson bring up the matter, Nick Fury recalled what had happened that day.

Nick Fury visited Tony's Seaside Villa today, but Jarvis had upgraded his status and didn't let him enter the room directly as before. Instead, he was only allowed in after Tony gave his permission.

Tony led Nick Fury to the living room sofa, where Tony sat down, leaned back, and looked at Nick Fury, saying, "What brings the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.. here in person this time?"

"If it's that Super Boy Band again, then needless to say, I have absolutely no interest in that stuff and would never join."

Nick Fury glanced at Tony, who was leaning back on the sofa, then at the dog with the ninja Headband at Tony's feet, and said directly:

"Tony, I'd like to know, what exactly do the Puppet in the Sunagakure Puppet Shop represent?"

"That Kankuro from the Sunagakure Puppet Shop comes here often; you must know quite a bit about them."

"S.H.I.E.L.D.. needs to obtain their information, just in case."

Tony scoffed, "Nick Fury, what do you take me for?"

"One of your agents?"

"You actually want me to extract information for you? I think your brain has been eaten by zombies."

Tony pointed at Nick Fury and said, "I'm an advisor to S.H.I.E.L.D.. only because my father is one of the founders of the organization. I'm not one of your henchmen."

"You can't afford to hire me!"

Hearing Tony's sarcasm, Nick Fury remained unperturbed and said seriously, "Tony, you consider them friends, but do you know they don't live on Earth?"

"We should unite as one to confront these extraterrestrial life forms together."

Tony, however, looked disdainful. "Wow, that's rare."

"It's truly remarkable that S.H.I.E.L.D.. agents were able to detect that they weren't living on Earth."

"I never expected you to have such strength; this is truly beyond my expectations."

"So what? Do I have to tell you?"

Upon hearing Tony's words, Nick Fury frowned slightly and then asked, "Did they tell you?"

"How novel! They not only told me, but I even went there myself."

Upon hearing this, Nick Fury was stunned for a moment, then asked incredulously, "What? You actually went there?"

"Yes, I've already been there."

"Nick Fury, don't even think about getting any information from me. I'm not telling you anything."

Clearly, Tony and Nick Fury didn't know that they were talking about different places. Tony Stark was going to the Magic World, while Nick Fury was talking about the Ninja World. But that's how the misunderstanding arose.

Nick Fury hadn't expected Konoha Village to be so generous, directly inviting Tony Stark to visit. He desperately wanted S.H.I.E.L.D.. to have such an opportunity, so they could gain a more direct understanding of the other side's world.

"Tony, could you tell me about what you saw and heard over there?"

"Impossible, impossible."

"Don't even think about it, I'm not telling you any of this."

"If you want to know these things, figure it out yourself. Don't try to find out from me."

Seeing Tony's firm refusal without giving him any chance, Nick Fury said, "Tony, we at S.H.I.E.L.D.. have recruited a ninja. I'm sure you'll be interested in him. How about we exchange information?"

Upon hearing Nick Fury mention that he had recruited a ninja, Pakkun, who was lying on the ground, glanced up at him but didn't care at all. Tony, on the other hand, said indifferently, "No need."

Seeing that Nick Fury's purpose in coming was solely to extract information, he immediately stood up and said, "Director Fury, I have other matters to attend to, so I won't keep you company any longer."

"Jarvis, see them out."

Seeing that Tony was telling him to leave, Nick Fury knew that the intelligence gathering had been fruitless, so he didn't linger and left Tony's Villa directly.

As Tony watched the other person leave, his thoughts drifted to the ninja recruited by Nick Fury.

"Pakkun, what kind of ninja do you think Nick Fury would recruit?"

Pakkun stood up, shook himself, and said, "Tony, you don't need to worry about that. The ninjas recruited by Nick Fury are either liars or unimportant people."

Tony nodded, but still wasn't reassured and dialed Charlotte's number again, only to hear that she was out of service.

"I wonder where that guy ran off to again. Did he go back to the Magic World?"

"Forget it, let's ignore him. We'll talk to him next time we run into him."

After saying a few words, Tony went to the underground research lab to continue improving his armor. He was aiming to create an armor that could defeat Charlotte.

Nick Fury stopped reminiscing and said with a hint of helplessness, "Tony refused my request, and he's already been there. He trusts Charlotte more than we do."

Coulson exclaimed in surprise, "He's been there! No wonder!"

Nick Fury then looked at Coulson and said, "In the meantime, focus on selecting 084 Object and hold the first trade."

"As for information about the Sunagakure Puppet Master, it seems we'll have to use Energy Block to obtain it."
