Vol. 2Earth Planet’s Rise

Ron rebuilt Earth Planet, forged new military forces, and secured a warrant while preparing to challenge the Goli Sector’s rulers. After defeating Harris and capturing Matila, his forces pursued a dangerous ritual hidden beneath the planet.

  • Ron created Spirit Net, led the campaign that killed the Genestealer Patriarch, and armed Genestealers against the Blood Red Skull while an Imperial fleet demanded a higher tithe.
  • Ron defeated the Sector Governor’s fleet and recovered an Emperor’s Blood Rogue Trader Warrant, but lacked the Covendi heirs needed to authenticate it.
  • Ron recovered and refitted the warship Dreamer, then defeated the Sector Governor’s fleet and found the Rogue Trader Warrant among the captured ships.
  • Ron recognized that he needed Covendi heirs to authenticate the warrant, which he did not yet have.
  • Ron founded the Void Angels and War Angels, defeated the Skaven invasion of the Underhive, and planned an attack on Matila for eight years later.
  • Marius IX Harris saw a great existence seated upon a Brass Throne.
  • Ron invaded Matila, killed Harris after he returned as a Bloodthirster, and oversaw the planet’s surrender.
  • Devere led Adeptus Astartes and Thunder Custodes underground to investigate Agul’s ritual, while Datong caught up with them.

Arc 5The Lower Hive Campaign

Ron built Spirit Net, infiltrated the Lower Hive, and led a campaign to kill the Genestealer Patriarch before its beacon could bring the Tyranids to Earth Planet. After the fleet turned away, Ron prepared armed Genestealers to fight the Blood Red Skull while an Imperial fleet began demanding an increased tithe from Goli Sector.

  • Ron abandoned his Internet experiment after a Chaos-tainted image spread through the laboratory’s machinery, then sealed the Warp rifts caused by Cawl’s explosion and ordered Cawl to continue his research.
  • Cawl built the Machine Spirit Host, which awakened as Spirit Net and called Ron “Father,” and Ron ordered Cawl to connect it throughout the territory.
  • After Spirit Net helped reform the Palatine District, Ron used a Psyker Clone Body to travel through the pipes toward the Lower Hive, where he encountered a Genestealer cult and learned its Patriarch had sent a Psychic Beacon into space.
  • Ron recruited more than twenty thousand Void Remnants and led a force against the Patriarch while Cawl, Ari, and Duke’s forces fought Genestealers across the Lower Hive.
  • Ron infiltrated the Hive Network through the Little Sun and turned the Genestealers against their Patriarch, which was killed as the Tyranids arrived in the Earth Planet system.
  • The Hive Fleet turned away from Earth Planet after detecting a stronger beacon elsewhere, while Marius Harris assembled his fleet and ordered an unusually high tithe from Ers Planet.
  • Ron separated the Genestealer followers from the Hive Network, left Bishop Dony to restore their faith, and equipped nearly two million Genestealers to fight the Blood Red Skull cult.

Arc 6The Dreamer and the Warrant

Ron restored Earth Planet, recovered a warship from the Warp, and defeated the Sector Governor’s fleet when it came to collect taxes. The captured ships brought Ron an Emperor’s Blood Rogue Trader Warrant, but he had no Covendi heirs to authenticate it.

  • Ron defeated the Khorne Cult and reclaimed the Lower Hive, then retook the Sub-Hives and restored Earth Planet under his rule.
  • Ron named the Genestealer Hybrids the Eredar, controlled the Genestealer population, and expanded Earth Planet’s census, Spirit Net, and development plans.
  • Ron led the retaking of Star Tower Spaceport, rescued its survivors, and searched the Warp for a usable warship.
  • Ron recovered the Golden Age warship Dreamer, named it, and directed Cawl and the Mechanicus to repair and refit it.
  • Ron opened Grant House’s Forbidden Laboratory for Moss’s genetic research and approved policies to increase Earth Planet’s population.
  • Ron refused the Sector Governor’s representatives’ demands, and the Dreamer defeated and captured their fleet after Cawl nearly fired its Nova Cannon at them.
  • Ron inspected the captured ships and their passengers, rejected the fleet commander’s offer of loyalty, and found a hidden treasury containing an Emperor’s Blood Rogue Trader Warrant.
  • Ron recognized the warrant’s authority but realized he lacked the Covendi heirs needed to authenticate it.

Arc 7Founding the New Chapters

Ron developed Earth Planet’s industry and military, founded the Void Angels and War Angels, and defeated a Skaven invasion of the Underhive. He set preparations for an attack on Matila eight years later, while Governor Harris saw a great existence upon a Brass Throne.

  • Ron rescued Sahim and Milia Covendi, learned that a fleet commander had killed their family and seized their Warrant, and took them to seek revenge.
  • Big Steel Claw led an Ork warship to the Goli Sector, where Cawl’s Holy Nova Cannon destroyed it, and Ron later approved Cawl’s research and Earth Planet’s development plans.
  • Ron toured the Schola Progenium and its Gene-Warrior Academy, then authorized Moss to use Gene-seeds to create new Space Marine Chapters.
  • Ron appointed Duke and Pulu as provisional Chapter Masters, oversaw their warriors’ enhancement surgeries, and ordered a successor chapter built around Pulu’s unusual abilities.
  • Ron sent one thousand disguised Eredar missionaries toward Matila, while a colony ship departed to develop a mineral-rich planet.
  • After the Void Angels and War Angels received their armor, Ron deployed them and the Thunder Custodes against Big Foot Rat’s Skaven invasion.
  • The new Chapters helped rout the Skaven, and Ron’s forces cleansed much of the Underhive before he set an attack on Matila for eight years later.
  • Governor Marius IX Harris debated how to respond to Earth Planet, recalled the unrest caused by Imperial tithes, and beheld a great existence seated upon a Brass Throne.

Arc 8The Fall of the Goli Tyrant

Ron prepared Earth Planet’s forces to invade Matila, where Harris had embraced Khorne and become a Bloodthirster. After Ron killed Harris and the planet began surrendering, Devere uncovered a dangerous ritual led by Agul and pursued it underground.

  • Harris expanded his rule over the Goli Sector through executions and human experiments, then authorized the Black-Robed Mechanicus to resume the Bloodthirsty Warriors project.
  • Fran reached Matila, aided the desperate people of Train Town, and later received Ron’s blessing to save Little Brown and other rebels from Khorne Warriors.
  • Ron learned that Harris’s forces were creating Khorne Warriors, then worked with Cawl to develop Holy Ash Bombs and prepared Earth Planet for war.
  • Eight years later, Ron led a fleet aboard Dreamer to Matila, where rebels rose up as the invasion began and the Dreamer defeated Harris’s fleet.
  • Ron and his forces landed in Matila’s Main Hive, fought through Harris’s corrupted troops, and Carter killed Harris before Harris returned as a Bloodthirster.
  • Ron pursued and killed Harris, broadcast the Tyrant’s defeat, and oversaw the surrender of most of Matila’s forces as the Resistance Army took control of key districts.
  • Devere reported a hidden Heresy stronghold and led Adeptus Astartes and Thunder Custodes through the underground pipes to investigate Agul’s ritual, while Datong fought a mutant fish and caught up with the force.
