Ron Grant awakened as Governor of Earth Planet, discovered his Psyker powers and Little Sun, and tried to stabilize his starving territory while preparing to restore the God-Emperor’s statue. After Bishop Dony agreed to support Ron’s ceremony, mutants attacked the Upper Hive and a terrifying creature emerged from the pipeline.

• Ron Grant escaped Slaanesh’s Palace and awakened in the body of Governor Ron Grant, where he used his newly awakened Psyker powers to survive a Daemonette attack with Carter Crowley’s help.
• Ron learned that Earth Planet had been cut off from the Imperium by the Great Rift and that Homan House and the Grey Wolf Warband controlled much of the territory around the Palatine District.
• Ron entered the Warp as Little Sun, found a Space Hulk, encountered the Chaos Pirate Kaelina, and discovered Green Wave Farm and its robot caretaker Moss.
• Ron installed Little Sun’s Psionic Core in the God-Emperor Statue, then reassured miner Will and helped workers return to their jobs as food supplies dwindled.
• Ron rejected Bayev’s proposal to impose harsher controls, met Bishop Dony, admitted he was a Psyker, and agreed to support restoring the damaged statue.
• Ron ordered the Holy Icon rebuilt and planned a ceremony presenting himself as the people’s savior, but Bishop Dony initially denounced the plan as blasphemy.
• Ron used a vision to convince Bishop Dony that the God-Emperor had chosen him, and Dony agreed to support the ceremony and provide the Ecclesiarchy’s treasury.
• Mutants attacked the Pipeline Defense Zone, and Ari and Kais prepared their soldiers as a huge creature approached through the transport pipeline.

Ron took control of the Defense Force and Logistics Department, then used his psychic power to locate Heretics threatening Ascension Day without ordering a mass purge. Bayev’s forces began the Cleansing Operation, and Carter’s Custodes defeated a series of Chaos threats, leaving Carter with the Heretic Head in his grasp.

• Ari and Kais survived the giant mutant’s attack, and a mine-filled truck destroyed it before they confronted Logistics Department personnel who were collecting wounded soldiers as corpses.
• Ron abolished Article Nine, ordered aid for the wounded, appointed Ari and Kais to lead the Defense Force, and promised better supplies for its soldiers.
• Devere joined the new department Ron formed within Logistics, while Ron learned that Heretics were attacking residential districts around Sacred Plaza.
• Ron rejected Bayev’s plan to purge over a hundred thousand residents and used the citizens’ hope to locate the Heretics and their Chaos Essence bottles.
• Bayev organized the Cleansing Operation, and Carter’s Custodes rescued Alila from Malai and destroyed the ritual site where Malai planned to use Chaos Essence.
• A Chaos Aberration escaped during another raid and attacked civilians, so Carter led the Custodes against it with Ripper, the consecrated Chainsword Ron had given him.
• Carter activated Ripper and cut the Humanoid Aberration in two, then grabbed the fleeing Heretic Head by the throat.

Ron crushed a Heretic attack, staged a miracle at Ascension Day, and gained enough Power of Hope to reach Green Wave Farm. He returned with food and Moss, then began rebuilding the Palatine District’s food supply and Mechanicus while drawing refugees from Homan House.

• Carter and the Custodian Warriors executed Heretics while Ari killed fugitives and joined Devere in investigating Vassi’s home, where they uncovered a ritual site and killed Vassi and his transformed family.
• Ron ordered compensation for fallen warriors and prepared Ascension Day, while Yosef learned that his attack had failed and ordered the Daemon embryo’s growth accelerated.
• Bayev formed the Secretariat to screen ceremony attendees, and Devere and Popov selected Alila for the Governor’s Residence’s Worker Representative Medal after she was left off her factory’s list.
• Ron held the Ascension Day ceremony, appeared in golden armor before the crowd, and used Little Sun to gather enough Power of Hope to unlock long-distance teleportation.
• Ron traveled through the Warp to Green Wave Farm, passed Moss’s genetic test, and discovered that the robot had stored grain harvested over two hundred years.
• After six days away, Ron returned with food and Moss, restored the Palatine District’s supplies, and ordered officials to make Corpse Starch Bars and suppress Homan House’s riot.
• Ron disguised Moss as a Tech-priest and established a new Adeptus Mechanicus branch with Cawl, while Moss and Cawl began building New Green Wave Farm and expanding food production.
• Ron sent Corpse Starch Bars and leaflets into Homan House territory, drawing refugees to the Palatine District as Yosef resolved to wait for a final battle.

Ron led the Palatine District’s forces against Homan House and destroyed the Tzeentchian Maggot, then reclaimed the Upper Hive and brought the Grey Wolf Warband to heel. He established an Inquisition under Devere and prepared the district for a future campaign into the Lower Hive.

• Ron rallied the Palatine District’s forces and launched the decisive attack on Homan House as Yosef sacrificed his family to hatch the Chaos Embryo.
• Ron confronted Yosef and the Tzeentchian Maggot, then held the creature off until Bishop Dony and the district’s forces helped kill it.
• Ron captured the surviving Yosef, cleansed Homan House territory of Chaos, and incorporated the reclaimed lands into the Palatine District.
• Ron and his commanders moved against the Grey Wolf Warband, while Ari saved Maya and helped civilians take revenge on the gang.
• Carter and the Custodes defeated the warband’s elites and captured its leader, and Ari adopted Maya and sent her toward the Schola Progenium.
• Ron presided over the traitors’ execution, announced the Upper Hive’s reclamation, and gained enough Power of Hope to bestow another Blessing.
• Ron helped Bishop Dony rebuild the Ecclesiarchy and appointed Devere Lord Inquisitor to establish the Palatine District’s Inquisition.
