Zheng Yuheng awakened as Sasuke Uchiha and used his knowledge and discipline to rebuild his life, guide Naruto, and lead Team 7 through its first missions. After surviving the Land of Waves and entering the Chunin Exams, Sasuke set his sights on a Kusagakure team carrying an Earth Scroll.

• Zheng Yuheng woke as young Sasuke Uchiha, discovered his One-Tomoe Sharingan, and negotiated with the Third Hokage to keep the Uchiha ancestral home and open a restaurant.
• Sasuke gathered the Uchiha clan's belongings, buried his family, opened a barbecue restaurant, and began training while attending the academy.
• Sasuke graduated alongside Naruto, helped Naruto learn the truth about the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, and passed Kakashi's teamwork test with Naruto and Sakura.
• Sasuke led Team 7 through D-Rank missions before the Third Hokage assigned them to protect Tazuna on a C-Rank mission to the Land of Waves.
• Sasuke defeated Haku, buried him with Zabuza, and took care of Gato while Team 7 protected Tazuna and Kakashi.
• Sasuke helped Team 7 return to Konoha after the Great Naruto Bridge was completed, then joined Naruto and Sakura in preparing for the Chunin Exams.
• Sasuke saw through the entrance Genjutsu, passed the written exam with Naruto and Sakura, and entered the Forest of Death.

Sasuke survived the Chunin Exams, confronted Itachi, and left Konoha to train after defeating Naruto in a match. On his journey, he killed the Sound Four and reached the Land of Iron, where he arranged to support Tenbu Shinzo in the Forging Tournament.

• Sasuke defeated Gaara during the Chunin Exams before Naruto took over the fight and brought Gaara back to his senses.
• Sasuke met Itachi and Kisame in Konoha, broke free of Itachi’s Tsukuyomi, and endured an extended Tsukuyomi session to strengthen his willpower while concealing his abilities.
• Sasuke was promoted to Chunin and asked Tsunade for permission to leave Konoha to train, while arranging for Sakura to study under Tsunade and take charge of his restaurant.
• Sasuke defeated Naruto in a match at the waterfall, then left Konoha to travel and train as Naruto promised to surpass him and Sakura began her apprenticeship.
• The Sound Four ambushed Sasuke on his journey, but Sasuke killed Jirobo, Tayuya, Kidomaru, and Sakon, then gave the heads of three of them to a Konoha patrol.
• Sasuke reached the Land of Iron and learned about the Forging Tournament at Three Wolf Mountain, where he sought a smith to work with his Chakra Metal.
• Sasuke met Tenbu Shinzo, offered to fund his materials, and agreed to let him enter the tournament in exchange for forging weapons for Sasuke and the Uchiha Clan if he became a Forging Master.

Sasuke helped Tenbu Shinzo win the forging competition, then traveled to the Land of Whirlpools to investigate Uzushio’s Sealing Techniques. Two Danzo-backed Konoha ninja pursued him, but Sasuke defeated them with help from Might Guy’s team and continued his journey, sensing a faint Chakra fluctuation beneath the waves.

• Sasuke guarded Tenbu Shinzo from sabotage and helped him forge War Soul for the competition.
• Sasuke used his Sharingan to study his opponents and won the final sword duel, allowing Tenbu Shinzo to become a Forging Master.
• Sasuke discovered his Five-Tomoe Sharingan could use Kamui and traveled by ship to the Land of Whirlpools.
• Sasuke investigated the ruins of Uzushio while Hyuga Chobo and Aburame Ichiyu pursued him on Danzo’s orders.
• Sasuke used the river and his techniques to defeat the two pursuers, and Might Guy’s team arrived to capture them.
• Might Guy took the captives to Tsunade, who accepted a cover story to conceal Sasuke’s strength from other villages.
• Sasuke continued traveling, made camp by a remote seaside cliff, and sensed a faint Chakra fluctuation beneath the waves.

Sasuke uncovered an Uzumaki sealing archive, then traveled through the smaller countries while Kumogakure and Kirigakure hunted him with intelligence from Danzo. After defeating both squads and advancing his training, Sasuke planned to recruit Orochimaru’s followers and expose Danzo’s role in the Uchiha Clan’s destruction when Itachi returned to Konoha.

• Sasuke tracked the tides to a cave beneath a massive rock, exhausted the Uzumaki seal guarding its door, and discovered scrolls and research notes that he studied during an extended training stay.
• Tsunade confronted Danzo over his attempt to capture Sasuke, asserted the Hokage’s authority over the elders, and demanded Root’s membership roster.
• After leaving the cave, Sasuke visited the Docks and learned that Kumogakure and Kirigakure were looking for him, while Danzo secretly supplied both villages with information about his route.
• A Kumogakure squad ambushed Sasuke, but he killed its members with War Soul and ninjutsu before Kurenai Yuhi’s team arrived and gave him scrolls of Lightning Release techniques.
• Kirigakure sent two Jonin and six Chunin to capture Sasuke and take War Soul, but Sasuke split up the pursuers, killed them in separate clashes, and handed their bodies and tool pouches to a Konoha patrol.
• Tsunade challenged Kirigakure over its incursion and demand for Sasuke’s sword as Konoha gathered forces at the border and demanded authority over the Land of Whirlpools.
• Itachi trained in the Land of Grass for over a year, awakened the Four-Tomoe Sharingan and Amaterasu, and regained much of his former strength, while Sasuke developed Rasengan Ice Howl and Rasengan Flame Burst.
• Orochimaru asked Yakushi Kabuto for news about Sasuke, and Sasuke planned to recruit Hozuki Suigetsu, Karin, and Jugo to help Itachi kill Danzo and prove that the Uchiha Clan’s destruction was a conspiracy.
