Naruto advanced through the Chunin Exams, defeated Gaara and Neji, and helped stop Orochimaru’s invasion while building an alliance with Gaara. After the Third Hokage stepped down, Naruto left with Jiraiya to find Tsunade, but Itachi and Kisame confronted him on the way.

• Naruto entered the Academy, excelled in the exams, and graduated after defeating Mizuki when he tried to attack him.
• Naruto passed Kakashi’s bell test using four-tailed Tailed Beast Mode, and Team 7 entered the Chunin Exams.
• Naruto fought Orochimaru in the Forest of Death, protected Sasuke and Sakura, and later restrained Sasuke when his Cursed Mark spread.
• Naruto defeated Gaara in the preliminaries, entered their shared mental space, and placed a new seal on One-Tail so Gaara could seek its friendship.
• Jiraiya trained Naruto in Summoning and the Flying Thunder God Technique, and Naruto defeated Neji in the final round.
• Naruto helped stop Orochimaru’s attack on Konoha, sealed the First and Second Hokage, and urged Gaara to pursue the Kazekage position.
• The Third Hokage stepped down and sent Jiraiya and Naruto to find Tsunade, but Itachi and Kisame confronted Naruto at an inn.
• Naruto lured Kisame away from the town and countered his water attacks with Pressure Damage and Wind Blades before charging him with a Big Ball Rasengan.
