Background / History

The Enma Clan's summoning contract was considered more valuable than contracts with Ryūchi Cave, Mount Myōboku, or Shikkotsu Forest during negotiations between Kumogakure and Konoha, carrying a value of 150 points. Hiruzen Sarutobi's contract was treated as a core Konoha asset. 41

Enma served Hiruzen Sarutobi as the Adamantine Nyoi-bo during the war against Kumogakure. After Hiruzen's death, Sarutobi Biwako stated that Enma had relayed Hiruzen's wishes and that the Enma Clan's contract would be transferred to Might Duy. 76 119
