Background / History
Gu Yue is the Silver Dragon King in human form and the incarnation of the Dragon God's wisdom. Her failed transformation separated Na'er from her, leaving the two as divided halves. After spending most of her existence dormant and recovering, she came to human society; she later concluded that the Plane Consciousness had influenced that choice. 170 178
Leng Yaozhu accepted Gu Yue as a disciple of the East Sea Spirit Pagoda. When Gula became Leng Yaozhu's senior disciple, Gu Yue immediately challenged him, unwilling to accept that a human could surpass her talent. She was defeated in their virtual duel and reluctantly acknowledged him as Senior Brother. 146 147
After sensing the Sea God's divine mark within Tang Wulin, Gu Yue identified him as the vessel for the Golden Dragon King's Divine Core and concluded that he was part of a larger divine scheme. She resolved to enter Shrek Academy, strengthen herself, and eventually counter the Sea God's plans. 170
Her suspicion of Gula led her to confront him over Tang Wulin's earlier attack. Once he explained Tang Wulin's connection to the Golden Dragon King and his opposition to the Sea God's control, Gu Yue entered a temporary alliance with him. 190 192
In Dragon Valley, Gu Yue absorbed the core power left by the Dragon God while Gula and his avatars exploited the surrounding dragon energy. The inheritance intensified her doubts over whether her feelings for Tang Wulin made her unfit to become the complete Dragon God. 341 342
Following Dragon Valley, Gu Yue accepted Gula's proposal and was successfully subdued through an Enhanced Great Ball. She subsequently traveled with him to Douluo Continent Era 1, where she revealed her identity to her past Silver Dragon King self and helped establish a fragile alliance. 343 345
Appearance
Gu Yue initially appears as an ordinary-looking girl with black hair and black eyes, though her cold detachment immediately distinguishes her from others. Later appearances depict her with silver hair and silver or purple eyes, reflecting her Silver Dragon King identity. 146 328 345
- Her voice is compared to “ice spring hitting jade.” 146
- She commonly wears pale or moon-white clothing. 192
- Silver dragon scales can emerge across her skin when she stops concealing her identity. 191
- Her true Silver Dragon King form is described as a silver-haired, purple-eyed woman resembling Gu Yue, but colder, prouder, and more wild in bearing. 345
Personality
Gu Yue is proud, aloof, and intensely competitive. She rejected Gula's claimed superiority from their first meeting and insisted on challenging him despite their difference in cultivation. Defeat did not eliminate her resentment; she was reluctant even to address him as Senior Brother. 146 147
Behind her cold exterior, Gu Yue is highly analytical and cautious. She investigates threats personally, questions Gula's identity and motives, and carefully reassesses her plans after discovering Tang Wulin's role in the Sea God's scheme. 170 190 192
Freedom is central to her decisions. She resents being manipulated by gods, the Plane Consciousness, or predetermined destiny, and shares Gula's opposition to beings who treat living creatures as pieces on a board. 178 192
Her feelings toward Tang Wulin are a persistent source of conflict. Their shared origin creates instinctive closeness, while her awareness of the Golden Dragon King and the Sea God's scheme makes her distrustful and resistant. 170 341

Silver Dragon King Power

- Her dragon might was sufficient to knock Tang Wulin and Dai Yun'er unconscious at the entrance to Dragon Valley. 341

Combat Judgment

- Neutralized Long Yue's attacks one after another while barely moving from her position. 328
